(USA Today)   Andy Reid names Napoleon Dynamite starting QB for rest of season. Gosh I'll throw a flippin' touchdown if I want. I wish our team was called the Philadelphia Ligers   (usatoday.com ) divider line

Andy Reid: I wish you wouldn't look at me like that, Nic.

Nic: I wish you'd get out of my life and shut up!

Coach Reid: I'm gonna tell you somethin' right now. While you're out there playing skinny post routes with your friend DeSean, your Uncle Andy is makin' 120 bucks.

Nic: I could make that much money in five seconds!

Michael Vick: Geez. Yeah right, Nic. I made, like, 75 bucks today.

Coach Reid: Nic, it looks like you don't have a job. So why don't you get out there and throw more INTs?

Nic: Why don't you go eat a decroded piece of crap!

If the owner of the Eagles sticks to his words, the Andy Reid School of Clock Management, Philadelphia campus (and main branch), will be closed until further notice at the conclusion of this season. It will be up to another NFL owner as to whether Professor Reid re-opens the main branch in another locality.

Exactly. The high school I went to was the rival school to the one in the movie (I grew up about 20 miles from where it was filmed), so I got all of the inside jokes and references that were subtly put into the film that nobody outside of a small part of southeastern Idaho would even get. Because of that, I enjoyed the movie immensely. But I understand why most people would not.

I've seen an Iowa-Penn State game end at 6-4. That was still more entertaining than Napoleon Dynamite.

And Office Space has some incredibly funny moments, but the movie has been run into the ground by Comedy Central.

It is. That was me in high school. Thankfully I got better.

I laughed at the movie because of that. And my gf at the time had lived in Idaho, so she understood the backwardness of the state.

Just a rumor making the rounds today, credited to an unnamed 'reliable source' close to Reid. Strong speculation is that Garret is out if the 'Boys miss the playoffs. I would think realistically that Reid takes at least a year off to recuperate at this point.

Just what we need, a coach that hates running the ball more than Jason Ginger. I don't think I could watch a Cowboys team coached by Andy Reid, it might be the last straw for me.
