2012-12-03 11:32:06 AM
Does it bode badly for the pregnancy when the morning sickness is so severe, it sends you to the hospital?

2012-12-03 11:32:10 AM

2012-12-03 11:32:22 AM
was admitted this afternoon to the King Edward VII Hospital in central London with acute morning sickness and is expected to stay in hospital for several days.

Farking really? Several days for morning sickness?
Does the future queen puke acid like an alien or what?

I assume you're referring to Charles

//let alone any other family member

Must suck when your single most important job is to be the breed sow of a creaky, decrepit old clan that was inbred until very recently.

Socialized medicine. Abusing the system. Blah blah blah

I think that's the typical assessment. However, being stupendously rich and generally beloved as a figurehead of legitimate government has its perks. They are probably going to do a battery of tests to make sure the fetus is viable and without defect, the sort of tests not normally available to the common woman.

Because she can. Plus when you are fourth in line for the throne, you get a little extra attention.

2012-12-03 11:36:47 AM
Well, the tabloids had to be right eventually.

2012-12-03 11:37:10 AM
I'd like to meet he person who has a world view in which this is relevant in any way.

No, the only thing that will ever make the crown pass Charles will be his own death.

MaliFinn: And if it's a boy, expect the crown to pass Charles by shortly thereafter.

How would that work? I thought Charles was the only person would could decide that he could be skipped in the line of succession.

I cannot believe she is going to saddle Prince William with raising someone else's child.

In this case, it's mourning sickness.

I don't see why. Every other English king named Charles has been a raving success and beloved by the people and Parliament.

She would step out on her handsome, princely, extremely wealthy, new husband? Not that quickly, I would think. And would he hit it? Like it's his royal duty, yes sir.
