I made the film, and yes, it's been on here before. But the vimeo views are mounting really fast, and I'm hoping to push it over the top for publicity purposes.
Peace

I wanted to be customary Fark snarky but I enjoyed it. Good form.

Great short, Nayman. Entertaining and an awesome PSA.

2012-12-03 11:38:39 AM
That's good stuff.

2012-12-03 01:15:59 PM
Nice.

Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think) would be good closing credit music.

I like it. I'm no writer or film critic or anything like that but it grabbed my attention. When I saw that it was over 5 minutes long that little voice inside me said "Give it a shot, but no way you're watching the whole thing."

I watched the whole thing. Hard to say why but it really drew me in. Nice work and congrats on the Staff Pick.

I really enjoyed that, subbs.

Well done, subby. Watched through the credits.

I thought it'd be a waste of time. I was wrong. I am sorry to have doubted you. Very nice job. It left me wanting more.

2012-12-03 03:11:34 PM
I was expecting tits and beer. Leaving disappointed

2012-12-03 03:17:04 PM
That was quite entertaining. Excellent job, Nayman.

2012-12-03 03:27:13 PM
I really like the progression.  Liked it even though I knew what was going to happen.  Left me wanting more.

The only critique I'd give is the ending.  It seemed out of character- after all that- to seem shocked at what was going on.  I kinda would have wanted something more farsical, as the previous 4:30 was pretty damn farsical.

I really like the part where the guy didn't know if his ticket was changed.

/was it aliens?

2012-12-03 03:53:44 PM
Screw the aliens. Did he get his ticket changed?

2012-12-03 04:07:09 PM
its like when fry was frozen all those years in futurama, loved it subby!

2012-12-03 04:20:51 PM
I liked it, but it could've used more fart jokes.

2012-12-03 04:24:51 PM
Really good.

Is something like that expensive to make? How long did it take? Are actors paid for short films?

chrisco123: Really good.

Actors werent paid, but we paid for a studio, sound guy, sound mixer, and a makeup.
We did the post production (and visual effects) for free, by ourselves.

The actual money spent on the film was about $2,000.

That's very nice work! I enjoyed it, good luck man

Just more proof that people who use mobile phones when driving don't pay any attention to what is going on around them.

2012-12-03 05:14:30 PM
Looked fake to me. That guy was way to calm, and the phone personnel spoke english to well...

2012-12-03 05:34:02 PM
Very cool, and I said that the last time too. Who's the D-bag in the film? They were believable.

When the image first came up, I knew I'd seen it before, from a link here on Fark.

I sat through it again.

Nice job, man. Nice job.

Simpson's did it..

Jk.. really good stuff Nayman.. shared it with my friends as well. Keep churning that kind of stuff out!

2012-12-03 06:04:05 PM
Could have used more lens flare.

2012-12-03 06:46:59 PM
No offense, but that sucked.

2012-12-03 07:19:10 PM

Good work, would be hooked if this were the first 5 minutes of a pilot for a sci-fi series.

2012-12-03 07:33:25 PM
Was worth the revisit. Nice work. Thanks.

2012-12-03 07:44:07 PM

Fellow film guy here.

Liked it a lot! Congrats on a cool film and hope you get a lot of eyeballs on it.

2012-12-03 08:19:14 PM
Was it aliens, or was it war missiles?

Great concept and execution.

2012-12-03 09:53:18 PM
Watched it when you put it on Fark last time. Watched it again this time. You seriously need to make a feature length this is brilliant.

2012-12-03 09:58:56 PM

Popcorn Johnny: No offense, but that sucked.

I'm sure subby won't take offense at you not liking it, but at least have the decency to explain WHY you didn't like it.

mrlewish: Screw the aliens. Did he get his ticket changed?

I can't suspend belief enough to believe that he got his ticket changed.

/ok with the aliens though

Because it's unoriginal and not particularly well executed.

Good job!

Don't listen to Popcorn Johnny, he's just upset he's only managed to get one link greenlit since he joined Fark three months ago.

Great short! Must have been a pain in the ass to composite.

Wait, you can change your flight like that?

I thought airlines were super strict about stuff like that.
