The problem is that you have to have close every open arrow (wound).

Neighbor Heather Meier said she came home from work Friday afternoon after picking up her 7-year-old daughter from school, and the two saw Arnold's body still lying in the street. "As soon as we got home, we just shut the curtains," she said Saturday. "You know, tried to just watch some TV, have some snacks, mind our own business."

Great neighbors. "La la la la la..... body in the gutter.... just ignore it, kids. Who wants cookies?"

Oh com'n. There is no proof the killer was interested in harming any of the students. He killed his dad and his gf, then himself. Seems obvious he had a personal vendetta against his pop. There is NO evidence, at least reported yet, that the killer was on a random spree.

"a Wyoming college instructor still managed to wrestle with his 25-year-old son who carried out the attack and give his students time to flee the classroom, say police who hailed the actions as heroic."

1. It is not "heroic" to defend against your assailant, particularly your own offspring. His motivation being the escape of the students is not likely top of the list.

2. The students didn't escape anything. They weren't part of the plan.

Reminds me of my halloween costume back in 2006. I took a real arrow shaft and made an "entry wound" with hotmelt that provided enough of a base I could superglue the whole thing to my forehead. Rest of it was makeup and fake blood, but the looks I got from other cars as I was driving to the club was well worth the trouble.

/You realize they're going to have to push it through?
//Oh I hope so.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Gravely wounded by an arrow fired into his head, a Wyoming college instructor still managed to wrestle with his 25-year-old son who carried out the attack and give his students time to flee the classroom, say police who hailed the actions as heroic.

More grisly details of the horrific murder-suicide in Wyoming came to light Saturday, a day after the younger man killed his father's live-in girlfriend and then barged into his father's computer science class and shot him in the head with a high-powered bow and arrow...

..Christopher Krumm had just stabbed to death 42-year-old Heidi Arnold at the home she shared with James Krumm two miles away.

When police arrived at the classroom, they found Christopher Krumm bleeding from self-inflicted knife wounds and taking his last breaths.

If only there were law preventing knives and bows&arrows from being sold to the mentally ill, this might have been avoided... tsk tsk...

First, a local writer has to write an editorial and then Bob can read it word for word.

Bow and arrows don't kill people, mentally deranged people with good aim kill people.

Given that a lot of HOA board members could give two shiats about members and generally don't see them as human beings, that might not be accurate.

The teacher was the target of the attacker, obviously he's going to fight back if he's getting attacked. The real question is, why did none of the students help? Why are we so glad that all of the students escaped unharmed?

How is this cowardice applauded?

That's so illogical. Surely if we ban all objects that are potentially dangerous, the world can only become more safe.
