I thought it was humorous.

Sanchez and the Jets as an organiization SUCK.

I know it's fun to rag on the Jets, but seriously, let's take a step back and ask one serious question; how has the Arizona Cardinals defense not killed Ken Whisenhunt and their offensive teammates by now? Do you know how ungodly unbeatable a team like the Patriots would be if they could borrow the Cardinals' D?

Sanchez should move to Australia.

2012-12-03 11:25:37 AM
SANCHEZ FOR THE JAKE!

2012-12-03 11:28:29 AM
That's because he's a no good, very bad quarterback.

2012-12-03 11:33:43 AM
That game was incredibly painful but I couldn't turn away.

2012-12-03 11:36:58 AM
Jovan Belcher had a worse one.

2012-12-03 11:42:05 AM
As a Patriots fan I am pissed. I was hoping for another 4 more years of Sanchez.

2012-12-03 11:42:10 AM
Football related aside:

Is anyone kinda concerned that no one has been talking about how the refs have awarded/negated 3 TDs in two weeks. You would think after all the harassment the scabs for the fail mary people would be more in an uproar about this.

Killer Cars: Do you know how ungodly unbeatable a team like the Patriots would be if they could borrow the Cardinals' D?

Think the Cardinals would go for a "2nd round and 7th round picks for Peterson" trade? C'mon, ask the Dolphins, I bet they'd recommend making that trade.

/Fingers crossed that Dennard and Talib are enough duct tape to hold it together

Having a hole in your head is better than being Mark Sanchez.

Mark Sanchez tried to shoot himself after he was benched. The bullet was promptly intercepted.

At least Belcher succeeded in teaching the Chiefs how to hit a target.

Where is this?

Yes, a link to this would be appreciated.

And McElroy? I don't know if he's the answer. The Jets need someone who can manage games while relying on a solid running game and tough defense to do the heavy lifting. I don't know that playing QB at Alabama under Saban would prepare you for that. The Jets should draft Barkley instead.

2012-12-03 12:04:26 PM
Please, McElroy's TD was the easiest passing TD ever - his receiver was open from the time of the snap until four seconds later when McElroy actually threw to him. And he was in the end zone the whole time, too, just hanging out, directly in front of McElroy the whole time. Tim Tebow could've thrown that pass.

2012-12-03 12:07:43 PM

IAmRight: Tim Tebow could've thrown that pass.

Woah now, let's not get crazy here.

Stick a fork in Sanchez. I don't know if the Jets' QBOTF is Tebow or McElroy or someone to be acquired in the offseason, but Sanchez should not take another snap behind center for this team.

They just need to trade for Ingram in the off season, the Saints aren't doing anything with him.. maybe pick up Barrett Jones in the draft to shore up the line a little...

Actually, you eventually get to the point where you have enough cash that you could never conceivably run out of if you lived a pretty standard life after your playing days. Buy a home, a nice car, save up about 7-8 million bucks. Even conservatively invested, you can live very comfortably off that. When you get up to 20-50 million dollars, you could live like Charlie Sheen until you're dead, sliding into the grave in a solid gold coffin - without ever working a day in your life again. Assuming you invest and don't *TRY* to blow it all at once.

By that point, money is no longer a motivation, or even a concern. Then it's time to work on personal accomplishments, relationships, and figuring out who you are. It's the same reason why players who are ludicrously wealthy don't just stop after they've accumulated enough money. They want to achieve their athletic goals.

Presumably Mark Sanchez's goal isn't chasing down whoever intercepted his last pass, or being the worst QB in a state* that features both Ryan Fitzpatrick and Eli Manning. So he'll keep working.

*yes I am aware that they're technically in different states

Barkley is the same type of QB as Favre and Romo. Great numbers but a lot of picks as well. I believe he threw for 18 picks his senior year of highschool and he played for a very good HS and most of his opponents were sub-par. He put up big numbers at USC, one of the most talented teams in college football, but he kept throwing picks. He'll benefit if he gets picked up by a team with an established QB and he can sit on the bench for a couple of years and work on his game because all I've heard locally is that he's confused by defenses. And if he's confused by HS and college defenses he'll get eaten alive in the pros.

mcmnky: I doubt that very much.

Actually sounds like a good fit. Then again Alex doesn't have that model-look with the penchant for sucking up media buzz like a Sham-Wow that we've all come to know and love from the trainwreck that is the Jets organization.

I'm wondering the same thing. Ask a Ravens' fan. That seems to be their SOP.

So, Tebow suits up on Thanksgiving with his rib injury, but doesn't for this game based on a "coach's decision". Seems an obvious out for Ryan to pull Sanchez and skip over Tebow and go with McElroy.

So, why the hell did the Jets trade for Tebow again?

My guess was that he was signing off on his trade to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for Henry Burris and some poutine.

Funny how Ryan announced this morning that the Jets have three very good QBs and should be recognized as one of the league's best equipped teams at that position. He somehow kept a straight face while saying this, it was quite extraordinary.
