Hey Taitz, let me introduce you to something your country calls FERPA. It's a law that says you have absolutely no right whatsoever to see anybody's educational records but your own.

NFA: Did anyone ever notice that when Trump did his ridiculous publicity stunt of offering Obama 5 million dollars to a charity of his choice, that the terms of the deal were literally impossible to meet? He wanted Obama college and passport applications and records. Who the hell keeps copies of college and passport applications? Who EVER has access the to originals, as if the government keeps all passport applications in a secret vault somewhere. No they don't, they're entered into the system and destroyed. Trump knows that.

The whole birther movement is beyond infantile racist.

I agree with infantile, but these are adults and this is ultimately what the birthers are doing. It's a huge dog whistle.

It could be racism bypassing all rational thought.

I have family friends who are very smart and knowledgeable about plenty of things, but start foaming at the mouth when Obama is mentioned in conversation. Kenyan this, usurping cocksucker that, etc..

I'm living in a state of denial, and I've put some distance between them. Sucks, but I feel like this is the only thing I CAN do that won't alienate them.

RedT: who gave her a law degree

A highly regarded "unaccredited correspondence law school" with the amazing Bar pass rate (on first attempts) of 0% in July 2011.

When you are on the right wing and Bill O'Reilly has call you "Nuts" it is probably true. That said, she is probably cashing in big time.

2012-12-03 09:46:44 AM
I'm really happy to see that the judge had the good sense to impose sanctions. I wish more judges would impose sanctions on bogus and harassing law suits. If we had tort reform where the losing side was required to pay the winning side's expenses (as is required in every civilized country), you'd see 90% of all civil suits dry up.

Well, a big reason why she's hanging around is that the Republican leadership has really done nothing to repudiate her or other birthers. Hell, Romney cracked a "joke" (it's hard to tell with Rmoney) about how no one questions where he was born. Rather than rejecting it outright, they kept giving the Birthers winks and nods.

But even at that, this sort of derp is self-sustaining in the end. Oily Taints has enough people who believe her to stay funded for some time, even if the Republican leadership totally abandons her.

rufus-t-firefly: Other people say stupid shiat about Obama turning the US into the USSR, but this farking lunatic should know better since lived in the Soviet Union until she was 21.

Actually, I've noticed people who grew up in dictatorships (or statist places like pre-1989 soviet union) tend to be overly sensitive to these things. A couple of guys in the 90s would constantly tell me how the US was "just like the Soviet Union". One place I worked, we got these memos basically saying attendance at some safety meeting was required, and the only people who flipped out were a Mao-era Chinese immigrant, and a Lithuanian. They were like "this is how it begins, you will see". More recently a russian dude was telling me how McCain was hand-picked by the oligarchs and WOULD BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT and we were only given the illusion of choice by those in power. Coo-coo for cocoa puffs.

2. A money-making scam.

Either way, kudos to her.

She needs to keep this going - she cannot possibly earn a living any other way now. There is a segment of the population that will provide substantial monetary support for as long as she keeps this up. A few grand here or there in fines isn't going to make much of a dent in the piles of cash raised to fight the good fight.

Women aren't better. Cool story bro time.. I was on a cruise recently and they had "Pandora style" bracelets for like $25. It was probably a $5 bracelet with some beads on it. They had a "sale" the last day, women packed into that place like cattle. The "deal" was buy 4 or more and get $5 off per bracelet. So women who had planned on buying 1 on sale either bought 4 (well, Christmas presents you know!) and many others still just bought the one.. they rushed a table that was uncovered as the 'sale' began and grasped for their bracelet in a frenzy to not save any money or to spend more money and buy more bracelets than they had originally intended. At least the guys got something useful.

Was in a bar in Blacksburg, Virginia once. Buddy and I were talking about after effects of Vietnam on the region. I mentioned something along the lines of "at least the communists went into Cambodia to clean up their mess there," and this Russian overheard it. Dude went OFF, thought there was going to be a bar fight. Before he calmed down he ranted how Communists have never done anything good any where and yadda yadda.

(he thought we were talking about Russian commies; when he calmed down he drank with us for a bit and joined the discussion; was interesting to get a Russians perspective on their involvement in those conflicts)

More than that, she doesn't need to have the route all mapped out now - she's pulling in cash, probably stocking most of it away, and she'll cross the "what to do next" bridge when she comes to it. At the very least she'll have a incredibly valuable list of names, addresses, emails, etc. of angry and easily dupable folks with more money than sense. That's a valuable asset right there.

The thing is, Trump announced that he had new blockbuster information that would totally change the election. Not a ‶challenge." Information.Very big information." That he would announce fourteen days before the election.

Then, when the day of the announcement came, he does his Dr. Evil-style $5 million challenge instead. That isn′t by any stretch of the imagination information at all, let alone very big information."

No, he had something else ― or thought he did. And then, between his announcement of having big information and his deadline for revealing it, whatever it was fell through. Hard. Leaving him with nothing to announce (whatever it was would′ve been utterly humiliating had he gone through with it, and by then he realized that), so he had to come up with something after all that build-up, thus the lame $5 million challenge.

I strongly suspect that he actually fell for ‶Peter R.′s" hilariously obviously fake ‶Kenyan Birth Video." Peter R. outright said that Donald Trump was one of the people interested in this. You may remember it ― there was a FARK Video article on it. You know, supposedly digitized from a VHS dub of a Super 8mm home movie, despite the fact that Super 8 wouldn′t be invented for over ½ a decade after Obama′s birth? Never mind that that was one awfully big (looked to be at least three months old) and dark-skinned (even full-blooded black babies are pale when newborn) ‶newborn." And the Sharpie-penned chart and calendar (Sharpie™ pens hadn′t been invented yet either). And the wrong flag pen on the doctor (Kenya wasn′t a Republic yet and was still using the flag of British East Africa at the time). And the amazingly repetitive 8mm-like dust and scratches. And so on, and so on, and so on.

Anyone got any other explanations for those known aspects of Trump′s behavior regarding his planned announcement?

As for Orly, we know for a fact that she fell for a hilariously obvious hoax of a Kenyan birth certificate, and tried to submit it as evidence in court.

Not too far from the truth. This whole Birther movement was started by another PA lawyer Phillip Berg who has a history of supporting himself by filing ludicrous, poltically-charged lawsuits and then setting up legal defense funds to pay for the cost of litigating them. He appears to be a legitimate grifter-that is-he knows the suits are crap, but dear god how the money rolls in. Taitz seems to be a bit more a true believer (read crazy) who started helping him pro-bono on the suit until she discoered just how much money Berg was making and decided to go into business for herself, despite being a "lawyer" in the most technical sense of the term only
