The important question here is: will they burst into flames if left in the toaster too long?

I like the cut of your jib.

Also; everyone knows that S'more pop-tarts (IYDK: They were nothing but a rumor through most of the '90s) are the best. That said, these look good, too.

But, seriously, Unfrosted Cherry Pop-Tarts, when they had more than a teaspoon of filling.

I used to eat a lot of pop tarts, but they're simply not healthy enough for regular consumption. And I WILL eat the box if one is brought into the house. Just house it.

I just don't buy them now.

Just give me plain, unfrosted cherry, blueberry or strawberry.

I like the frosted cherry (yeah, I said frosted) and the chocolate fudge. I'd give these a try, I guess.

The pumpkin pie ones were interesting, but I still have an unopened foil package left. From last year.

The only flavor Pop-tart my kids were ever willing to eat was apple. They preferred unfrosted, but would eat frosted as long as it was apple. Apple is no longer made. I've thrown away too many boxes of Pop-tarts that only had one interior package opened. They were handy when the pediatrician was nagging for more, higher calorie snacks to be served, but my kids don't get anything out of food that they don't eat. Therefore, I'm done with Pop-tarts.

I saw these at the store today and almost bought them. Maybe I'll pick them up next week. My favorite is still Smores.

Every once in a great while, I'll pick up a box of S'mores pop tarts and eat them as desserts. They're actually very tasty. I've read the nutritional information and ingredients on different flavors of pop tarts and I just don't get how anybody could think these are part of a "balanced breakfast". They are really no different than cookies, cup cakes or ice cream. Eat them as a treat, that's pretty much it.

Cherry forever. The flavor I've been enjoying since I was 6.

Brown sugar cinnamon is second, but it tends to give me heartburn. Totally worth it.

Especially if you smear some butter on the back after toasting. Mmmmmm...

Brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tarts are good with a glob of peanut butter spread upon them.

Unfrosted strawberry is good with melted butter (applied AFTER heating if you use a vertical toaster).

Chocolate fudge would probably be good with vanilla ice cream.

The pumpkin pie flavor (new, I'm guessing) isn't bad - it's kind of pumpkiny.

I wonder if Pop-Tarts have shrunk over the years? By how much?

Had way too many of the S'mores pop tarts early on in college. They do really interesting things, if you have to resort to microwaving them for lack of a working toaster.

Used to like the apple strudel ones as well. Everything good is way too sweet for me now, since I ditched the sodas.

Only kind of poptarts I truly enjoy (s'mores a little but only specific times and properly toasted). Unfrosted strawberry is a poor substitute, and frosted cherry is far too sugary... ridiculous there isn't the proper middle ground.

Sounds pretty good to me. Then again, I am a bit high. Maybe that's their target market?

Done in one.

Fun Fact: If cooked in a toaster oven, and not allowed to "pop" up when done - as with the traditional-style toasters - the "Pop-Tart" turns into just a 'tart" and can be used for tart-only-related purposes that have nothing whatsoever to do with popping.

Pro tip: take a frosted brown sugar cinnamon poptart. Toast it. Remove from toaster. Take a Hershey kiss and sit it on top of said poptart, swirling around the frosted surface as it melts. Eat. Have mind blown. Thank me later.

I prefer S'more flavor. Something about it has always been awesome and the way it gets chilled in my lunch pail along with my sammich and coke is something amazing in the texture. Not too gooey and not too hard.

Barf. I remember them before the frosting and all the other crap -- the new ones taste like sugared monkey ass.

I suspect this is just the latest reincarnation of my favorite flavor (ever) last time they brought it back it was called ice cream sandwich. It's always just chocolate/vanilla to me, I don't even know its real name but I know it isn't s'more or ice cream Sunday or any of those "white filling" imposters mrs Naugahyde brings home

I hear what you're saying, but that's hard to keep on hand, in the car, for "just in case" occasions.

Agreed. I have a cupboard full of them.

Meh. Call me when they bring these back:

disneybear.com

I remember them being soooo good, I almost don't want them brought back because then I'll realize
they're just the same ingredients as a frosted strawberry Poptart just extruded different.

Then again, there's always a good old Cherry Poptart:
