i've never cared much about donkey kong, so maybe i'm biased, but this is deathklok-wannabe garbage from some dorks who don't know a goatdamned thing about metal. the main speed riff isn't too bad, but the bad keys, chug parts, and crappy leads drag it into the pit of teenage pop metal

are you actually implying death meta is listenable to begin with?

Yeah, same here.

The Stickerbush Symphony remix was enjoyable though. Link

Is someone burping the alphabet?

"Lets throw in some vocals, but make it sound like I am burping the alphabet, like when I was 7. Hahah. That will be so RAD"

WHy? Is there an alphabet-burping subculture of music? If so, WHY!?

I remember this! That was the worst part of the album for me. :/

dehehn: Personally I prefer Donkey Kong Country Smooth Jazz

Pretty good, except... I was a bit bugged by how much the sax disn't sound real -- it had a sorta plasticky lack of resonance, and didn't have the nice-sounding, natural looseness of voice you'd expect of a real person playing a sax. Still, not bad, considering.

er, "didn't", not "disn't".

I was going to post a Minibosses link (which I still will...), but it looks like this is done by OCRemix, so party on, dude!

Kickass stuff from Relics of the Chozo:

Hostile Abduction
Escaping Retribution

Also, Jeremy Soule quietly dropping a remix on this site was epic.
