They're gambling on the odds of how much money will be gambled on the game?

I wonder what it's like to be #1 in the rankings, and still be the underdog in a game?

I like how Bama cannot be called for unsportsman like fouls, or pass interference. That certainly helped them in the game. Of course that receiver made a bone head play at the end, but it never should have come down the wire in the first place.

However, I loathe ND more than Bama, so Bama FTW in the NCG.

I am 100% betting on the Irish to cover. And win.

10 sounds about right. Anything double digit is going to bring in a ton of ND cover money.

yea, in America, Labor doesn't really have any Value anymore. only Capital/wealth has Value. don't work your way to success, depend on luck.

how long did it take for the Roman Empire to fall? if we go that route, it won't take nearly as long.

For Alabama to have the chance to defend its BCS title, the Crimson Tide need a win against in-state rival Auburn University (3-8) on Nov. 24 and then a victory in the Southeastern Conference championship game on Dec. 1 in Atlanta.

Fingers crossed, everybody!

College Football was a cash machine for the Sports Books until last year when everybody needed to cover to get "style points" with the computers. It was easy to troll alums who would get all indignant over "only" getting a certain spread without doing any thinking on the matter. That taught them that sometimes you need to go to a 9 touchdown line to keep any profit on a game.

Well, they are playing in the SEC now, so that automatically makes them one of the 14 top teams in the country. Top to bottom, every team could take out any other team out there. Losses only come against other SEC teams, so they don't count.

If anybody says there is only 3 good teams in the conference this year, point to the top 25 list. Forget about the SEC circle jerk that keeps teams ranked too high which turns wins against them into great victories and losses which prove how good the SEC is.

I have only seen Notre Dame play once this year and Alabama 6 or 7 times, but I think Bama will destroy them.

there's gambling on football? really? i thought this was all about school spirit and, of course, the development of student-athletes into well-rounded members of educated society. if there's gambling that would be a terrible shame. i would hate to see money soil this beautiful amateur sport that embodies our nations' highest ideals.

Wait, what? You're saying Bama got the calls in the game? Did we watch the same game? The phantom tipped ball that was not a tipped ball that nullified a UGA pass interference. The fumble on the goal line when his knee was down

Surely you know the only reason Alabama wins is because of the University's deep pockets and collusion by the game officials.
