was an American football linebacker with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He played collegiately with the Maine Black Bears. He played defensive end during his junior and senior years, after switching to the position from outside linebacker where he played as sophomore and freshman. Reports indicate that he allegedly murdered his girlfriend and then committed suicide at the Kansas City Chiefs team facility on December 1st 2012.

jesus christ, wiki.

I knew the Chiefs were having a bad season, but this is no way to terminate your contract.

Wow, he really didn't want to play for Romeo.

That's one way to put it. The other way is KC Chiefs player who is a recently new father shot and killed his gf then went to the team facility and offed himself. Thus becoming the next complete farking coward to do this out of order.

Someone is really upset that Brady Quinn is their quarterback

They're playing the Panthers this weekend. I thought that was their thing?

Is it bad that when I got the espn text message, my first thought was, "must've been because he played for the chiefs.."

sad. too bad he didn't shoot himself in the chest.

NFL needs to address this shiat. Having players and former players offing themselves, massive lawsuits in the wings for player safety. something has to be done. at all levels of the game.

I think the answer is weigh caps. and not a fine, or a flag for being out of that, but forfeits both of games and revenues.

At least the Chiefs aren't in the NBA. David Stern would fine the team if he doesn't play tomorrow.

What's important is that now is not the time to be having a debate about fun control.

I have no idea what any of what you just said has to do with this. Are you trying to say it is the NFL's fault that this guy shot his gf and offed himself, because he was too fat or something?

Slow your roll there, we have no idea why he allegedly did this.

And they're supposed to be hosting the Panthers tomorrow.

Will the law even be finished with the site survey/crime scene processing in time to allow people in to prep for the game?

Will the players WANT to prep in there for this game, knowing the kid emptied his skull on that floor this morning?

There is zero reason to believe this had anything to do with any head trauma at this point. You know...A lot of people kill themselves and other because they are just farking pissed about something.

If you have anyone from the Chefs on your fantasy team you're already boned....

Also, the rumor is that he shot himself in front of Crennel (the head coach).

There is no way they will play there tomorrow. Game will be cancelled or something.

The NFL has been on Fun Control for a couple decades now. I would like to get back to a time when celebrating was an acceptable post touchdown activity

Head injuries and concussions have been the cause of depression and suicide in both a couple of hockey and football players recently.

I don't think that's what this was in this instance.

It was at the practice facility so I am sure the game will be unaffected.
