Also up tomorrow in the FA Cup is the Wimbledon derby. MK Dons vs Wimbledon AFC. Tasty.

Definitely looking forward to that one.

It is getting really damn hard to wake up for the early game in winter

FFPL report to follow for the 1500 games.

It has only recently occurred to me that the Christmas and Easter clusters of games are going to be nuts wrt making and scoring predictions.

2012-12-01 08:50:52 AM
This week I predicted a lot of 1-2 matches. West Ham 1-2 Chelsea, Arsenal 1-2 Swansea (insurance, of course), and Fulham 1-2 Tottenham.

i hated betting against the Gunners, but they've been playing average football lately. Swans have been looking very organized and formidable. And Arsenal doesn't have the most daunting home crowd.

Nervous about Swansea. Are the Gunners due for a big game today?

LOL. Good one! I'm optimistically calling for a win, though

West Ham levels while mugging Ivanovic,

Oooh, West Ham levels it with a header from Cole.

Arsenal will wait until I've lost all hope, then roll off three wins in a row.

Oh that was almost comical.

Morning Gents. Lovely day today. A bit cold in the KY, but nice out.
First things first, RIP Phil Taylor.

Secondly, Welcome back Lucas Leiva. Please don't get injured again.

I was worried you meant someone more important: the darts legend!

A. Cole with a huge header off the line.

2012-12-01 09:27:29 AM
And until a moment ago, I was sitting on a Perfect to open the day.

DIAME!

Best ten points in Fitba I ever lost.

2012-12-01 09:27:53 AM
And West Ham puts me in position to start today with a perfect! LOL @ Chelski!

No, I'm sure The Power is still alive and winning a tourno.

And now a winner for West Ham? WOW

So, Rafa for third in the sack race? Worth a punt right?

Rafa Benitez, he'll coach where he wants

2012-12-01 09:32:35 AM
Book it done...West Ham Win

2012-12-01 09:33:05 AM
Bah, there goes the perfect. Still, as long as Chelsea loses I'm happy.

2012-12-01 09:33:39 AM
Looks like I picked the wrong day to start 2 Chelsea defenders

2012-12-01 09:34:09 AM
This one isnt Rafas fault. It's a shame thought because he was put in such a bad position.

Money can't buy you titles every year Roman. Enjoy 6th or worse again.

It's wishful thinking. I'm hoping desperately for an Arsenal win, and they can if they show up. Like Arsene himself, they frequently seem too calm when they need to get pissed off and play with passion.

Cognitive Displaysia: Bah, there goes the perfect. Still, as long as Chelsea loses I'm happy.

That's why I didn't join the prediction league. I'd hate to find myself rooting for Chelsea or Manchester United just to win points in the league.

Kills me that we couldn't take advantage of this awful Chelski defense on Wed, they have gaping problems in the back 4 right now.

2012-12-01 09:36:44 AM
The supporters should be focusing on the real problem (roman) rather than giving Benitez hell.

2012-12-01 09:37:30 AM
That was delicious.

Eh, you have to keep perspective. I will gladly lose points in the predictions league if it means a Fulham victory or a Chelski, QPR (Quite Possibly Relegated), etc loss.

2 points of 9 for Rafa. RdM must be laughing his ass off right now.

Stuck with a stream for the Fulham v Spurs match, won't be able to make myself wait for the replay later on FoxSoccer.

I can't take credit, I first saw it on the Friends of Fulham board and thought it was deliciously funny.

Allardyce may not have them playing the "West Ham way" but i don't expect any Hammers fans complaining. They are a typical Allardyce team that is well drilled, organised and maximises any skill they may have.

I hope so. My Arsenal to finish top of the league (sans the Mancs) bet is looking decidedly better

In other sports news England are currently 12-0 up over the All Blacks.

2012-12-01 10:23:36 AM
So let me make sure I'm getting this:
Jose Enrique, bought as a left back, but makes a better left wing.
Stewart Downing, bought as a left wing, but makes a better left back.

I guess it's a wash.
