I don't want to endorse Subby's rather transparent trolling here, but I also can't see Notre Dame having much of a chance against either of these teams.

2012-12-01 03:31:31 PM
As a Florida fan, I'm just upset that I have to root for Georgia.

2012-12-01 03:31:32 PM
So this is the game that determines who will lose to Notre Dame?

2012-12-01 03:33:32 PM
Alabama has beaten five teams with a winning record. Georgia has beaten four teams with a winning record. Notre Dame beat eight and - ooh - hasn't lost a game.

ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY SEC

2012-12-01 03:34:12 PM
No NFL team has ever beaten an SEC team. Enough said.

Normally your posts are full of ridiculous prickishness, but this one was actually amusing.

Also, I'm not sure who I want to see win more. I hate SEC fanbois, and Notre Dame homers are repugnant. I hope the stadium collapses.

Did ESPN write this headline?

2012-12-01 03:41:11 PM
If you want to be a big boy, play 9 conference games SEC. Only the retards with sec degrees believe scheduling 4 patsies is a big boy schedule.

2012-12-01 03:43:04 PM
So if this was the 4 team playoff year, would both these teams already be in? Or would this be a play in game with Florida already having a slot? Either way it seems that having conference championship games could be detrimental if you're aiming to have 2+ teams involved.

But back to today, this should be a great game.

jake_lex: I don't want to endorse Subby's rather transparent trolling here, but I also can't see Notre Dame having much of a chance against either of these teams.

I think it's always hard to tell, because it's almost a different season. The title game is 37 days from now, which is ridiculous.

Go Dawgs. That is all.

And no SEC team will ever play outside of the south. Com'n SEC, play a REAL non-conference road game once, I dare you.

It'd be amazing if they went the college basketball route and did something like the ACC/Big Ten challenge the first week of the season.

2012-12-01 03:50:45 PM
I still say a 16 team tournament, the field of competitors decided by the BCS computer rankings, would be the best way to decide a national championship.

Michigan is not a patsy, they lost to the two best teams this year: Notre Dame and Ohio State.

2012-12-01 03:55:34 PM
Look at Georgia's schedule. If that's "big boy football", then there's no "little boy football". They played exactly two real opponents, and lost to one of them. One quarter of their opponents fired their coaches. Self-reinforcing SEC circle jerk.

Although, I'll admit that this was funny. Go Irish, and Go Dawgs.

Subby, you got the time a bit off. It starts at 7 PM CST in Indianapolis.

If either of the SEC teams wins the NC, they will have beaten 3 top 5 teams to do it. Complain all you want, but they would have earned it.

I watched Kentucky vs Baylor in hoops (rematch of the Elite 8) to see Calipari take his first L at home. That was a good feeling.

True. There's plenty of time for the rapist who plays for Notre Dame to get arrest, for instance.

With how big of a joke the Big 10 is this year, Michigan can certainly be called a patsy.

Challenge of a Badger fan, I would like to see them win, but do not really want them in the Rose Bowl.

What I really want I guess would be Nebraska winning in overtime so that the UW coached under Beilema get to be the only team to go 0-4 in OT games in a season. It is a shame Alvarez is a tool who will never admit that he made a mistake in selecting Beilema as head coach so we will be stuck with him, unless some retarded NFL team picks him up, because you know what every NFL team wants? A coach that can't even coach special teams, can't win games against ranked opponents, can't win big bowl games, can't win in OT, consistently is out coached in the second half of games, and has no farking clue how the clock works.

How big of a joke is the Big 10 this year? Northwestern has the 3rd best overall record out of Big 10 teams (Including OSU and PSU).

Denied!

In early October of this year, the Georgia fans wanted to fire their coach.   Link

If you make that assertion, then you must also say the 3 ACC Notre Dame opponents are also patsies. Put that together with Navy and you have 4 patsies.

The NFL is just afraid to schedule an SEC team. That is why they ate not the dominate figure in football.

I bet they won't even travel if they did.
