God I hate life right now.

But I just put on my Saints cap - scuffed and faded from the years - and I'm ready for the sh*t-talking. I have earned it, especially after my Falcons fans diatribe earlier in the week.

Seriously, I can't read or comment about the Saints anywhere on the intertubes without my hat on. Well, its on. So just give it to me.

Hey. You remember that time when Brees shiat the bed so badly that it seeped through the mattress, fell into the carpet, and settled into the flooring? Bad times. Bad times.

Eh, whatever. You can just tell the Falcons fans that all those eggs were collected from the ones the Falcons have laid in the playoffs in the past decade.

There's only about 5 Falcons fans in the world. You'll be fine.

Once again, people are disrespecting the Atlanta Birds of Prey football team as excuses fly for Drew Brees. None are needed, as Drew had the unfortunate task of facing the most daunting collection of athletes in the history of recorded time. Compared to the "Monsters of Midway", this Atlanta team is like the "Monsters of O'Hare, Hartsfield-Jackson, and some other large airport combined". Obey.

Any time beating a sub-.500 team this late in the season is "proof" that you're better than people give you credit for...you're probably not very good.

They're ok. I could easily see one of the good NFC teams best them at home (Packers, Giants, 49ers, Bears). I think the Seahawks could beat them in Seattle but they won't get that chance.

On the other hand, is there really an NFC team you'd say the Falcons couldn't beat in Atlanta? Every team has its holes, who knows what's going on with the Niners QB situation, the Giants and Packers have been inconsistent. Maybe the Bears if Cutler plays well. I could see the Falcons winning the NFC, though I don't see them beating the Patriots or Texans.

I'd put money on Seattle against ANYONE if they're at home. Alternatively, I'd bet against them if on the road against even a Pop Warner team.

Pretty much, and considering they look like #1 seed I'm going to say Ryan finally wins a playoff game this year.

I'm just saying, there's a chance that voodoo will be invoked to get someone to 6, so robsul doesn't have to write up the Jake for Brees.

That, or we get something along the lines of "Friends, I award the Jake for this week to Drew Brees." *crickets*

He could mention that he Brees was contaminated with the 5-INT bug by Ryan, it's just that his team wasn't playing the Cardinals.

There are actually a lot. It's just they aren't as obnoxious as the NO fans, so it seems like there are less than us.

The ones that make the trip to NO when the Falcons are here are real gems, I can tell you. Not nearly as awful as Philly fans, of course, but Philly fans don't come here once a year every year.

It ended Drew Brees's record streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass at 54. Perhaps if he had not run his mouth trashing talking the Falcons the streak might still be going on.

Yeah, the Saints had a bad day, and lost. And the seasons not going so well.
But they are light years away from being the Aints, the light at the end of the tunnel is no longer a train.
You know they will be back, all they need to do is to tweak the defense and gain some depth in a few places.
Leastwise you can say "wait till next year", unlike the Browns, Chiefs, Jaguars or Panthers.

I see no reason to talk. I'm glad they won and they should've won.

This year, the saints aren't important enough for the Falcons to get this worked up about the games.

They need to focus on and win in the playoffs. The end,

Interesting.  The one time I went to a Philly game, all the fans were pretty cool.  Could have been that my father in law (from Philly) was wearing an Eagles uni.

I love the Falcons hate. Hey guys, the Bears haven't done shiat in the playoffs recently either and they have looked much worse at times and are getting beat up, unlike the Falcons. Same with Houston. Houston has also had a couple of close games they should have lost against bad teams. Saints fans you are now irrelevant and the Falcons are not worried about you anymore so I guess the only thing that can make you feel any better about the season is to post about how bad the Falcons are going to lose in the playoffs. I am done.
