I hope this didn't cost money to make. It's pretty vain especially considering it's the season of giving. That money could have gone to me.

Bo is a dog, that means he doesn't have a political agenda.

I'm more upset they let a dog walk through rooms with priceless antiques and on the WH carpets.

It was cute, though.

Why? They let lots and lots of people do that too. It's not like Bo was racing through the hallways, skidding the rugs up against the wall and farking the table legs.

10/10, mostly because you're obviously an equal opportunity troll.

You know, as I watch the video I thought to myself, "Some ass is going to comment that there is a dog walking around the White House." Animals in the White House

The White House is the Obama's home. Their pet (that probably has 3-4 groomers following it around) is not going to make a huge mess or break anything. So lighten up Francis.

I kind of thought that Bo was going to hump that big stuffed dog at the end. He just had that lustful Portuguese Water Dog look on his face.

My sentiments exactly.

Also, did anyone check to see if the stuffed dog was sending radio signals to Jupiter?

You think so? Read about the history of pets in the White House some time then. You'll blow your mind. For instance, John Quincy Adams kept an alligator in the East Room of the White House.

The White House and its artifacts can survive a dog or two. Particularly one as mellow as that one!

First, good snark.
Second, no it was awful when I thought he was being a cockwaffle about the decorations and the cute little video. It was better when I realized that he was just playing with us, as he had seriously Poe law'ed us so well that, well, I immediately jumped at the bait.
I don't see how/where any administration comes into play. I had hoped he was not serious, and it turned out (as I read more) he wasn't at which point I was amused and in awe. Had he been serious I would have pointed out that the WH has many, many visitors, and decorating things for the holidays strikes me as rather patriotic and a worthwhile use of money. We (as a country) like ostentatious displays of holiday spirit, we like the build up to Christmas and the waiting there-in. We like the unfettered capitalism that this season has come to represent because it takes some of the stress off of Jesus' birth and places it on doing nice things for other people.

Damnit, I was about to chastise you on slipping Bush into things, and then remembered your note on sarcasm. I do believe you are right about me being a little off today. Duly noted.

Pretty boring video. The dog just walks slowly around the place looking at things and doesn't do any mischief or anything interesting.
