I've made them a couple of times and they're really good.[d2k9njawademcf.cloudfront.net image 500x332] Kefta style meatballs with grilled grapes and yogurt sauce.Linksuper easy to make and transport..just Tupperware the grapes, meatballs and sauce..and bring a big platter. Then assemble on site---throw down the sauce on the platter, stab a grape and then a meatball and plate.

Excellent with Triscuits, party toasts, or what have you.

Coci: Brownie rum balls!Step 1.) Make brownies. (I use the betty crocker boxed mix)Step 2.) After brownies have cooled crumble in a bowlStep 3.) Add spiced rum. Put in enough that brownie crumble is moist and can be molded into balls but not soggy.Step 4.) Roll into balls and stick in freezer so they hardenStep 5.) Dip in melted chocolate or white chocolate. Add shaved dark chocolate to the tops to make them look fancy.Step 6.) Eat****warning, alcohol is not cooked out. These are not for kids and can get you drunk***

jboy: Mashed potatoes from scratch are always easy and a bit more impressive than the powder (Although the powdered ones, particularly the idaho brands have come a long damn way.)- Cube potatoes, boil until soft. Add butter and milk and mash together. Salt to taste, although if you're using the right butter it may not be necessary.
