This whole "GET OBAMA OVER BENGHAZI" thing is only marginalizing Republicans as the morons they've become. It's sad only the most devout Republicans (and those in charge) don't seem to see this scandal is hurting them more than it will ever hurt President Obama.

No, it's not sad, it's hilarious.

The usual strategy, if you want to smear someone, is to throw all of your mud at him or her, in the hopes that some of it sticks.

The GOP variation on this strategy is apparently to keep throwing the same single clump of mud, expecting that one piece to stick sooner or later.

2012-11-29 12:43:56 PM
yeah but what was the ramifications of that? Nothing compared to Benghazi I assure you. This coverup is earth shattering I tell you. *waves bloody shirt*

I honestly think this is all they have at this point. Which makes me feel much better about Obama as President; if all they have against him is the birther nonsense and this bullshiat, he must be squeaky clean.

No, headline was referring to the 1995 NFL Receiving Yards leader Jerry Rice.

Is this anything new? It was the same with the whole birther thing, fast and furious, arugula and several others. They don't seem to realize that moderates are turning away from them and the only ones that are still supporting them are the super rich and the mouth breathing idiots that are happy to vote against their own interest because of minorities.

Measured patience doesn't line the pockets of the war industry or make it easy to raise "defense" spending.

To me it's a little sad. There isn't a voting option for people like me anymore--and that's not really a good thing. I feel like politics at some point was choosing the lesser of two evils. Now the Republican party has just fallen into being openly evil. About everything. Always.

Headline is misleading. Rice University was never a high ranking government official or in line to be Secretary of State. I'll have to check on those "misleading intelligence" and "black woman" claims later.

Ya gotta admit, that's a hell of a coincidence.

Why did the time-traveling Obama administration force John McCain, Lindsay Graham, and Condoleeza Rice to deliver false information?

Duh. Thirst for blood always wins over measured patience because apparently that's what the GOP thinks Jesus would've wanted.

I am still confused why any of this is important.

Who cares if there were uninvolved protesters present or not? That fact is a completely unimportant bit of minutia that had zero impact on the realities of the situation. I don't recall much outrage over the trivialities of previous attacks on Americans. The administration makes a tiny and unimportant mistake that has zero impact on the investigation and response - and the GOP won't let it go. Obama must be literally doing everything right if THIS is all they can come up with.

Why do libs deny Mrs. Bush Rice's involvement in 9/11 and the Iraq? Is it because she's black?

Yeah it's all general, when you ask them for specifics, they are unable. Because they don't know what they are.

In fact this video from Daily show made the best argument. I think they cut off what she said a little early.

Well it's not even that bad. The "faulty" information in Benghazi was after the fact the faulty information for Iraq lead us directly to war and the death of 3000+ Americans.

Even that's not a fair comparison though, the 4 Americans dying in Bengazi was in no way the result of faulty intelligence, it was the explanation of why the attack took place that was faulty.

Thousands died in Iraq as a direct result of faulty intelligence, that's much worse.

Isn't interesting how the have no real problem with Hillary Clinton who is actually more responsible for with the security of Benghazi.

Hmmmm, what could it be, why is it they just think those people you listed are incompetent and stupid and a leave a BLACK mark on the Obama Admin while people like Hillary Clinton are left untarnished like a WHITE sheet.

I can't put my finger on it.

That's exactly what happened with the Whitewater investigations during the Clinton presidency. Three separate investigations found no wrongdoing by the Clintons, and the second special prosecutor they brought on board the fourth investigation after the first guy wasn't getting anywhere eventually found a "high crime or misdemeanor" that they used as a pretext for Clinton's impeachment.

They never did find the Clintons guilty of any wrongdoing with the Whitewater land deal, though $70,000,000.00+ of the taxpayers' money eventually did buy them the right to call Clinton's "the most investigated administration in U.S. History".

Waaaaay back I remember reading an article about how Lindsey Graham was this up and comer who was all bipartisan and willing to reach across the aisle, and how he was going places because of his ability to look behind party lines and do what was best for the country.

Apparently he never read that article.
