Turns out Brown's kind of a dick

(long-ish but interesting)

Oh for fark sake get the hell over yourself. He told a non-pc joke. In the mean time, your side of the aisle calls people they disagree with Nazies, pedo's and everything else under the sun.

Oh and your blog sucks. Anyone that puts a gray font on a white background should be sent to git-mo for a lifetime of water boarding.

My friend is openly and unapologeticaly gay (and it's pretty obvious), so maybe it's the whole Southern Baptist/Conservative Republican thing.

Oh, fark you, you narrow minded bigot.

We all don't have to like everyone and it has nothing to do with being from the South or conservative.

Maybe, must maybe your friend was a jerk to AB.
Or maybe your friend, being so out-and-out about his gayness is just annoying queen, at which point the problem is his not AB's.

The most intolerant people I know all turn out to be 'progressive'; why is that?

Thank You Black Jesus!: Fear_and_Loathing: "Alton isn't no Paula Dean."  Lol!

It did get repeatitive, but I loved that show and his lack of ability on motorcycles.

The America's series on PBS is nice but doesn't have zing.

You haven't seen Yvonne ruperti yet. Yowza.

THIS. That woman is the hottest woman on PBS.

/i know that's not a glowing endorsement, but the woman is extremely hot.

He went Orson Wells on a TV cooking show for years and years. At one point it was a smooth operation, then he got a few years older and the intensity got over his ability to keep up.

He's established himself as a cooking show person, if not a chef, and is plenty qualified to be a voice now. He can back off and let other people direct and edit and cater.

fickenchucker: /The ol' lady tried to get me to watch boring pretentious heifer on Barefoot Contessa and it almost made me give up entering the kitchen. I hate that show so much it pains my head.

Really? BC wasn't bad at all. Her recipes actually worked too.

ChrisDe: bob_ross: I loved the first 4-5 seasons of that show. Very informative. Then it just seemed to get boring. Really liked the Science aspect though.

I've started watching America's Test Kitchen on PBS. Similar shows, they explain the science behind each procedure and why it works...and why your method fails. More focus on cooking, less on entertainment.

I like the printed magazine where the authors detail each failure and misstep that leads to the final recipe. Much like experimental science, without the "scrounge for grants" part.

Half of the recipes suck but the methods of cooking are awesome. Tweak his ingredients as necessary, eat well.

Gig103: I love how he fails to explain what about the show "nearly killed" him.

Pretty much implied that it was the 13 years of working that schedule.

I love how he fails to explain what about the show "nearly killed" him. It seems like a melodramatic quote to get the attention of someone, so he could test the waters on his potential online venture.
