I gotta ask, are we seriously going to go through his opinion on every media outlet one by one? I think it's time for this particular "story" to die.

MSNBC is exactly the same as Fox. I've compiled a list of things MSNBC has done over it's history that are in the same order of magnitude as Fox and Benghazi:

Romney calls 47% of Americans moochers:
1. Fox reports on positive and negative spin
2. MSNBC reports on just the negative spin

OBL is killed
1. Fox reports on the positive andnegative ramifications for Obama
2. MSNBC reports on the positive ramifications for Obama

Clearly only one news source is unbiased because it presents both the true and untrue aspects of stories. MSNBC only reports the truth which clearly has a Liberal bias.

MSNBC is biased. Are they as biased as Fox? No of course not. But are they a source of unbiased investigative journalism? Not usually.

If you want that, you need to look to the BBC, Al Jazera, or the Internet. The US media has utterly failed in its goal to report and inform.

Considering I've seen more "liberal" news outlets be critical of President Obama's first YEAR than I ever saw "conservative" outlets critical of President Bush's ENTIRE two-term run...gonna go with YES on this one, subs.

Sure! Just look at the reputable sites that our very own Fark links to! Sites like Breitbart, World Net, NewsBusters and Hot Air!

Done in one. Somebody turn off the lights on the way out, please.

//Not that his opinion of MSNBC as "trying to do what Fox does for the other side, but failing because they're incompetent" was wrong, this was just only amusing the first time because of the whole "kicked off the air" bit.

Saying MSNBC isn't as bad as Fox so it's okay is like saying "Sure, I killed all those people but Bob over there killed WAY more than me!"

MSNBC is liberal biased, but FOX news is Republican partisan, which is much worse. I read lots of conservative biased sources like Politico, but when your partisan you just a BS mouth piece for a political party.

That's why I still watch the networks for the nightly news. I get more out of those 30 minutes than I do watching a whole day's worth of watching the sad excuse that is cable news here in the US.

Reality has a well-known liberal bias.

Calling the Huffington Post news is a massive stretch. These days it reads more like a tabloid, with headlines written by overly caffeinated and social media obsessed twenty something idiots. For every one or two good items you have to wade though pages of bullshiat.

Yeah huff po is a mesh mash of opinion articles. If you all over the place it doesn't make you less biased, you just have many different biases.

I've watched both networks, both are biased but one pretends they're not.

guess which one?

2012-11-29 02:18:54 PM
If you go to one website for all your news, you are automatically biased.

Go to Fox, Go to HP/MSNBC.

Read the same story, get the opposite spins.

Use your brain and realize the truth is generally somewhere in the middle.

So I don't particularly like either. That said, I'm not a fan of TV news generally. I think it's a lousy place to get your information from."

I think that's the big difference between the two. MSNBC doesn't claim to be "Fair and Balanced" while regurgitating talking points like Fox News does.

MSNBC's claim is to be the source for political news.

Obamacare for starters...I mean it was an idea formed by the Heritage Foundation and implemented on a state level by a Republican governor.

Just because a Democrat proposes it doesn't stop it from being a Conservative idea.

I don't know you bring them up. You are the expert about this. I am the one with blinders on. You tell me.

I know, I'm just being a smartass troll with that one.

That being said, why can't Fox News be more like it's sister Sky News in the UK which seems to have some grasp on reality?

MSNBC. Home to shameless liberal Joe Scarborough's morning show. And frequent guest: godless heathen socialist Michael Steele.

I have to say that Joe Scarborough is even worse at his job that I initially thought if MSNBC is a partisan arm of the Democratic party.

This is not hard people. When you make an accusation someone says "please show me an example" you then list examples that support that accusation. You don't go, "uuhh what do you mean?"

If you have no specific examples to support your general claim you are "Full of shiat". So stop making accusations about things when you are incapable of baking it up with specific examples.

It's simple logic people. it's how you should get to conclusions. Not by identifying yourself with others who make those conclusions then choosing them. Oh it being part of the world view you wish to believe.

If that's the only record you have...then that's a pretty sad claim to make.

I think everyone knows that the evening MSNBC programs have a liberal bias, the thing that I want to know is if MSNBC's regular news coverage is as biased like Fox's afternoon coverage is as biased as it's evening opinion programs.

The absolutely insane view of what constitutes "left" and "right" in the United States is one more thing that makes us the laughing stock of the political world.

/protip: If you think there's a significant number of politicians or media outlets in this country that are "left" then you are part of the problem.
