Perducci: "Food and Wine" magazine publishes list of best burgers in the US, calls entire list into question with #4.Actually, the first slide calls the entire list into question, with its reference to Kobe beef. You'd think Food and Wine Magazine would know better and be aware that true Kobe isn't available outside Japan.
Butthurted: heyheyjerky: Louis' Lunch is a horrible burger. Sure it's the first place to serve it, but man, they are not that good.Ted's is good if you like steamed burgers. The best burger in CT is from Goldburgers in Newington.Goldbergs err Goldburger(I forgot the changed the name) is good, I like Ted's better, and Louis' is rank amateur shiate,
kona: What he said!www.foodandwine.comI lived in New Haven for 4 years. I ate at Louis Lunch one time. Lame. Lame. Lame.
Saborlas: There's a burger joint that refuses to serve ketchup? What kind of hipster eatery turns up its nose at ketchup on burgers and fries? Do they insist you use Miracle Whip instead?
russsssman: Seems the thoroughness of their review of burger joints is equal to the quality of their slideshow. Everything is in New York/NE area except the few places in Cali and Nevada that they had overheard about at a rooftop wine party. "oh it's a simply diviiiiiiiiiine burger".

wiwille: The Peanut Butter Bacon and Jelly burger at Twisted Root trumps all! No seriously it is quite possibly the best burger I've ever had, next to Seattle's Red Mill Bacon Blue Cheese burger. Yes, you can find good beef in Seattle.[cravedfw.files.wordpress.com image 499x333]/Not a hipster
Freudian_slipknot: naughtyrev: Nice to see that one of the ones on there (Custom House in Chicago) is closed. Way to be timely, list.Bad Apple is way better anyway.
Nightsweat: ChipNASA: YOU SUCK HIPSTER A-HOLES!![www.cityave.org image 300x283]Five Guys burgers are burnt. You might as well get McDonald's. Great toppings, great fries, but a burger must be pink to be great.
Maud Dib: Verily, MY burgers do not suck.Maytag Blue cheese(mixed in with the meat) , swiss cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and roasted green chile....[i865.photobucket.com image 850x701]

freewill: ChipNASA: YOU SUCK HIPSTER A-HOLES!![www.cityave.org image 300x283]Five Guys has gone downhill a bit, but I agree, when it was young, it was incredible. Now, that broad is not aging well. It's no Shake Shack.
heyheyjerky: Louis' Lunch is a horrible burger. Sure it's the first place to serve it, but man, they are not that good.Ted's is good if you like steamed burgers. The best burger in CT is from Goldburgers in Newington.
Spanky_McFarksalot: best burgers in the US large towns becausse we don't care about small town burgers...If anyone ever passes through Marinette Wisconsin, first you're probably lost, but 2nd stop at Mickey-Lu Bar-B-Q. Best burger you will ever have.
bentley57: In-n-out died when Dad died and the kids took it franchise. There was nothing better than pulling thru either side of that shack on Fancisquito in Baldwin Park, then running home or eating it in your car. All they had to eat off of was some picnic tables in the back yard.
pute kisses like a man: some of these burger places are probably expensive. while I will gladly eat an expensive burger, I think that price should go into the rating system.for example, if I were to eat a burger for around $3, I'd go to bud's broiler:
TheTurtle: And seared ahi is a sandwich of some kind. It is not a burger. I barely recognize turkeyburgers as burgers. Fish can get their own farking list.
FlashHarry: smash burger. greasy but farking awesome./wish we had an in-n-out burger here in omaha
Rindred: russsssman: Seems the thoroughness of their review of burger joints is equal to the quality of their slideshow. Everything is in New York/NE area except the few places in Cali and Nevada that they had overheard about at a rooftop wine party. "oh it's a simply diviiiiiiiiiine burger".Came here to say this. All the burger joints listed aren't anywhere near where prime cattle is raised. Epic, epic fail.
dickfreckle: Damn. I know New Orleans is not known for burgers, but we have some seriously good burger joints around. This thread has inspired me to go to Port of Call later this afternoon. Incidentally, I'm meeting your mom there.[cdn2-b.examiner.com image 600x341]
RangerTaylor: Bartley's - Harvard Square, Cambrige MA. Just sayin'
deanis: Juicy Lucy. That is all. [wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net image 630x472]
das: Hell, almost every crossroad in America has a great burger joint!!!!
Friction8r: Red Top also makes great burgers
Ikam: This is where to go. Period.[cdn3.gbot.me image 500x375]
