I'm not scared, I pasted a legal notice on my Facebook wall that lists all my posts as copyright. They can't do a thing!!!

NateAsbestos: And as others pointed out, Google doesn't sell your data, it sells the ad space it shows you to its customers. Who cares?

Yeah it does. Everything google keeps on you, it provides to its advertisers to target their ads. If your search history's on (don't think there's a way to turn it off on mobile) their clients can see what you've visited and market to you accordingly. The folks I work for buy extensively from google.

gingerjet: styckx: Google+ is annoying as shiat. I hung on to it for ages but it turned into a giant commercial for everyones website, development project, photography or podcast. It's like Linked In for the socially awkward hipsters. No one ever actually talked to each other. Facebook is shiat but at least I can actually talk to my friends, have some lol's and shoot the shiat with people I know.

It's always amusing to witness farks definition of "hipster" change from one week to the the next.

/google+ is useless but not for the reasons you mention

Everyone on google+ is a sour, friendless asshole. Like you.

In other words, "We think Google+ is better because we haven't figured out how to monetize it."

Yeah Google doesn't sell it, they just make it available to their advertisers, who happen to be paying them
