You should have gotten all of your shots before you poked Kim Kardashion.

Rondo is a b*tch, as is Humphries. There was no call for shoving someone for that "foul" - Garnett jumped into Humphries and flopped. Yeah, Humphries didn't hold his hand up the whole time, but BFD. Boston is a bunch of fake-ass tough guys. Would love to see him try that sh*t on Stephen Jackson.

Also, I like how people think that because of this sh*t, NBA players can't fight. Naw, you know what the difference is between basketball and hockey? You connect with a single punch in basketball and your ass is suspended for probably the whole damn season. Hockey? Maybe you miss the rest of the game. So yeah, if throwing a punch cost YOU several million dollars, I bet you would throw a lot fewer punches.

Basketball is probably the worst fighting discipline out there. I don't know who thought that dribbling a basketball is supposed to teach you anything about fighting. And no, don't tell me that "basketball players are freak athletes so they should at least be physically suited for fighting". Look at Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. They're tall, have long arms and legs, and have a reputation for explosive movement. I can't think of a single NBA player with that skill set. Why don't you just admit that a single hockey player could beat up the entire Miami Heat roster?

Rondo was just doing his part to win over the bored Bruins fans.

Chris just cemented himself as the NBA's biggest biatch. Really, getting shoved by Rondo, you've got 50 pounds and 5 inches over him.

I think that depends on whether or not you feel that Jesus Shuttlesworth is too old.

Whenever I think of NBA fights, I remember when Carmelo Anthony got "tough" against the Knicks (when he was with the Nuggets). Punched someone (I forget who) and backpedaled so far and fast, he needed an EZ Pass transponder.

2012-11-29 01:35:37 PM
Rondo needs to learn to pick his spots. It was a punk move and it was the wrong time. He can not be the team leader and the team enforcer.

KG should get a warning for flopping.

Last night was embarrassing for the Celtics in every way. Everyone knows the Celtics are a insulated, punkish, grind it out team. Doc is right, they are a soft team and they need something to wake them up. If this works and the team starts playing better than whatever. I know that makes a Tommy Heinsohn and I am comfortable with it.

Doc:

"If I'm Brooklyn and the league, you've got to think we're pretty soft the way we're playing," Rivers said. "We're a soft team right now; we have no toughness."

Regarding the fight,

"That stuff's not toughness," Rivers said. "All that stuff, that's not toughness."

Yanks_RSJ: Garnett is the biggest fraud in the NBA.

Yes he is. And he wanted no part of Gerald Wallace either when he came at him.

IIRC he got 15 games for that. This is why guys don't fight.

He'd be on my all NBA biatch team, but I still have Blake Griffin as the top biatch. When you have David Lee yelling at you to stop flopping, you know you have issues.

Bingo. Rondo was a bonehead because he needs to be the leader not the enforcer. That is what the bench is for.

Gordie Howe could take the Miami Heat singlehandedly. As in, one arm tied behind his back.

I would love to see some huge dude knock Garnett the Fark out. He's the biggest a-hole in the NBA and has been for well over a decade now.

fark Big Baby. KG is a good teammate. That is what he cares about. He has helped out players who are down on their luck and doesnt ask for any press. He is an intense guy who do some stupid shiat sometimes. Call him a fraud or an a-hole all you want the guy makes teams better.

So in other words, KG is a fraud and an a-hole, but since he makes the Celtics better, Cs fans don't care. Correct?

Haha, you might enjoy this article.  As much as I don't care for KG, that's really amusing.

I love this line:

Because he's played nearly two decades, KG takes that mantle. And he also takes in your playbook, ingests it with the ferocity of a starved baby bird ingesting a delicious worm, and yells the particulars out to whoever wants to hear them after cleaning his beak.

Have show off that fancy English degree somewhere.
