HotWingConspiracy: Oh man, the "tutorial" on how to convince a liberal that Obamacare is bad is precious.

The first two things they tell you to do is say that Obamacare fixes an unfunded mandate and was a Republican idea first.

I really want this to be real, but there's no way.

This site has to be satire, I hope. Sadly, it is tough to judge when compared to the BS that many proud southern republicans I know spew.

This is from their piece tearing apart Jindal, who may be the next 'savior' of the Republicans. They do on to claim that a sitting governor who is stripping State resource and trying to push as much money into private hands in a way that would my Gov. Walker proud should run as a Democrat.

Oh, and Obama has screwed up the Economy in 4 years, but Economic policies take time to trickle down, decades even. This stuff is brown gold.

First, an aside: trickle-down economics does work, regardless of what Business Week thinks or claims. We've seen it just in the last decade: thanks to the Bush Tax Cuts (and despite Obama's efforts to undo them), corporate profits are at an all-time high. Tax cuts for the rich work. What economists understand and which the Business Week author does not is that trickle-down takes time. It's a two-step process:

Take the profits earned from a tax cut
Invest these profits into higher wages and more jobs, thus helping the economy.
The Bush tax cuts were only enacted ten years ago. Trickle-down takes time, and the economy will begin to see the rewards soon -- that is, of course, unless Obama is successful in raising taxes on the wealthy. If that's the case, he will have undone ten years of economic progress.

If only the GOP hadn't spent so much time and energy injecting "Obamacare" into the lexicon, the "it was a Republican idea first" gambit might actually work.

Three Crooked Squirrels: To have any semblance of fairness, PolitiFact should play it 50/50 and present an equal number of lies from both sides. They clearly are not concerned with any pretense.

???

That the same shiat most news outlets falls for to give an appearance of fairness and balance. If one side lies all the time and the other side half the time, they still try to present both sides in an equal manner.

I think they're disinforming themselves, on purpose. When they're sufficiently misinformed it's easier to get really angry and crazy, and therefore really pleased with themselves about how insane they are.

I agree, my read on it is that this is a troll, hoping teatards start sending emails to each other with links to the site while those of the non-retard variety can point and laugh, and maybe, just maybe help educate through the power of humiliation when the truth about the site is revealed to them , ... the language they use is too Colbert-esque, the whole bit about common sense vs. "experts" is too plainly written - the bit about Politic-fact should have exactly 50% R lies and 50% D lies plays right into the caricature of Fox News that has been lampooned

That's why I think this site has to be satire, or at least a massive troll. They hit every single one of the popular anti-conservative memes like fact-checking, website design, unskewing polls, the 50/50 "balance", the list goes on.

I've said before that the Democratic Party really needs to get in on this market -come up with some "conservative" business to siphon off money from potential small GOP donors and troll GOP voters into veering further and further to the right. Then use the profits to run candidates against the Teabaggers they just trolled those voters into nominating. It would be the most efficient political machine ever made.

Too bad Dems aren't nearly Machiavellian enough to ever try it.

Given that they call themselves "conservative" but consistently take positions where they want to change shiat in arbitrarily large ways basically because they feel like it, I am not terribly surprised that they don't know what the word "fact" means either.

I, for one, cannot wait to read the Conservative Bible. Especially the part about how Jesus -- his white skin and blond crew-cut resplendent -- put aside his draft of the U.S. Constitution and smote those who dared provide health care to the poor with those immortal words "Take the plank out of your own eye, and ye shall start a profitable timber business, if not for Caesar's onerous regulations and demands for rendering unto that which my Father hath given the Job Creators."

Nah. It's just another example of photo-bombing. Some poor nature photographer spent an entire afternoon trying to capture the quintessential spruce trees to use for his December calendar page. He spent hours working out the angle, adjusting his focus and exposure settings, waiting for the perfect light. Only to have Lumpy the Whale jump in just as he triggered the shutter.

Maine GOP claims voter fraud
Chuck Davis | November 15th, 2012 | Tagged: GOP Maine voterID voterfraud

Maine GOP chairman Charlie Webster has received numerous reports of unknown black people showing up at polls and voting.

The Maine Republican Party believes that since these people were not recognized by town officials, they may have come into Maine to vote illegally. The Maine GOP reports that in some localities, there were "dozens" of unknown black people voting.
