$3.50 for lunch with Diamond sounds legit. Hell, I'd pay the extra dollar if he could regale some stories about Thiessen's jugs.

All I remember from Rodman's book was that he contemplated suicide while listening to Pearl Jam and he refused to eat Madonna out.

That's my takeaway and reading retention level, I guess.

If it's anything as cool as the $50 I spent for a night out with Len Bias, it's got to be worth it.

Is he really that hard up for money? On the other hand, am I really that hard up for entertainment?

I can't speak for him, but for me the answer is NO ;)

This could actually be some fun. Rodman is a blast to party with.

I was at the Viper room back in '95 and Dennis shoed up. There was a 70's cover band called the Boogie Knights playing. Dennis got to the bar and started WRECKING the vodak. The place was packed so I spent a lot of the time at the bar obtaining drinks and Rodman was pounding kamikazes one after another. About an hour later, he was flailing, going up to the male lead singer of the band when they were trying to wrap up their set and groping him. Dude was really uncomfortable, performed another song, and Rodman was back up there again. "Come on - one more FOR THE PEOPLE" - this went on for another half hour and finally the band just walked off stage. Rodman was wrecked, but was a lot of fun to drink with. He was still loaded at the time and was buying rounds for people left and right.
