Apparently not.

I have a great Yoko story that I save for cocktail parties because I am convinced she could have me and everyone involved erased with a wave of her minimalist hand.

If you're ever feeling particularly masochistic, seek out Don't Worry Kyoko (Mommy's Only Looking For A Hand In the Snow) and try listening to it. That was the B side of the Ballad of John And Yoko 45. They actually got money for that

I don't know if anyone skipped the article so they could come in here and hate on Yoko, but you should really take a look. It's just absurd. It's a men's fashion line. Most of the pants have a giant hand prints directly of the crotch. There's a suit jacket with mesh sleeves. Mesh cutouts on the ass. Bras with built in LED lights. It's too much. I don't even know how to mock it.

This is pretty much how it is with everything she does. She's been throwing shiat at walls her entire career.

I seem to recall a movie where some company tried to sell assless pants, but I can't remember what it was called. And googling for "assless pants movie" brings up nothing but "Magic Mike" links.

Anyone?

I'm amazed the delusional twat is still peddling her dead husband's name to make a few quid. Surely there should be a time limt on how long you can milk someone else's talent and reputation?

Take Yoko out and you have a really good blues rock song (hardly surprising considering the band John had assembled for the album (Clapton, Bobby Keyes, Jim Keltner, Klaus Voorman et al.).

Even with Yoko it's in the same vein as a lot of proto-punk music that starting to come out around that time.

I would understand if she was remotely attractive but shes not and its not like you cant find hot asian women every where over in.......Asia.....some you just have to do the crocodile dundee check to make sure its not a guy dressed up like a sheila.......

Also, she has zero talent or musical ability.

Those models don't look too happy. I understand.

Yoko's whole "career" post Beatles era has been a sad joke on anyone who bought any of her music. Did she ever make a good, listenable song?

I was wrong about her. I had never before seen the depths of her talent. She's so adorable.

Well, on Roger Waters "The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking" album she prevented him from jumping to his death by saying "something mystical".

I understand she was actually trained in classical music, like as an opera singer -- a lot of that weird singing she did with the Beatles and others was her effort to sing in a folk or rock style.

As for that clip, actually from a vocal perspective what she's doing is rather difficult -- just not very listenable.

Incorrect. B-side of the Beatles single "The Ballad of John and Yoko" is "Old Brown Shoe", a really overlooked George Harrison boogie.

"Don't Worry Kyoko" is the B-side of "Cold Turkey", a John solo song.

There was one utterly bizarre Beatles B-side: You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) was released as the B-side to "Let it be". It's a John Lennon "song" which was basically put out as a fark you to Paul; because the A-side was a Paul song, Lennon got to choose the B-side, and offered this piece that he'd been recording (off and on) since 1967, before he met Yoko.

I'll tell you one thing she hasn't screwed up: She has been doing a great job of making Ringo look talented for the last 45 years or so.

Ieeeeeieeeeieeeeieeeeieeeeieeeeieeeiee eeeieeeeeieeeeieeeeieeeee I mean, come on! Clapton was reduced to laughter when she started shrieking during the rock and roll circus performance. I'd be willing to bet she brought on the "peak" of his trip.

2012-11-29 07:31:26 AM
OK, I have to admit, I do like the new track she recorded with Paul McCartney. It's a melancholy song about the past. It's called "yesterday and ieeeeieeeeeieeeeieeeeeieeee"
