When did "Making a joke at somebody's expense" become synonymous with "trolling"? I always thought "trolling" involved a con game of some ilk, not just "You're stupid! LOLITROLU!"

"Trolling" is also now defined as "saying anything I don't agree with".

Also, I didn't realize they still published Tank McNamara.

I figured things were getting pretty bad when their most vocal unofficial supporter hung up his Sanchez jersey.

They should put Tebow in for the rest of the year and see if they can do anything with him at all. If not punt them both in the off season and get someone who can lead a team.

They can punt Tebow, but IIRC Sanchez has like $8 or $10 million guaranteed next season, so they're stuck with him.

This was my biggest takeaway from this link as well.

I can't wait to see what The Lockhorns have to say about this hockey lockout.

Nah, you're not helping the limited trade value that Tebow has by putting him in. Unless you're going to use him as a fullback. He's got the size to be a blocker, the speed to run the ball and a good enough arm to run all sorts of trick plays. He can be a great football player, just not a quarterback.

In other news, Babin claimed by the Jaguars.

Huh. I've never seen him wear a Sanchez jersey before -- he's always worn the Bruce Harper jersey.

Boston sports talk radio was questioning if Tebow had a number of snaps bonus. Maybe NY is not using him for ANYTHING because they don't want to pay him extra? Interesting. Or maybe Tebow sucks at everything. That is another plausible possibility (though if he can catch, he might be a good TE).

this move confuses me, not to say that the jagwaggers dont need help, but why pay extra cash to someone who isnt going to affect their win total this year and isnt getting any younger? (he is what 32?)

Me, neither.

There was an early strip where Tank was introducing his color commentator (who happened to be a black man),
and he misspoke and called him a 'colored commentator'. Tank then stopped and thought to himself "Did I just
say 'colored'?, and after a blank panel of the two of them staring at each other, the commentator came out with a
'DOO DAH! DOO DAH!' and Tank being embarassed.

It was about the only funny strip I ever saw.

The lead time involved in newspaper strips means that this was submitted well before Butt Fumble made his signature play.

A Tebow can reliably pass block would also be an excellent U-Back. Added bonus if you can motion him out as a TE. He's a terrible QB, but definitely athletic enough to be in the NFL. He just needs to accept his job is on a different spot on the roster.

/plus he sells jerseys, every team owner likes that

He started wearing the Sanchez jersey this year.
