It will be built in China, just like everyone else's.

It's probably already finished and therefore, they are not "building" it.

California - and many other states including NY - do not allow aerial devices for film capture. For instance, shooting a commercial in NY a few months back, we had planned to use a small remote helicopter for a wide aerial shot. However, you cannot attain a permit for that in NY, so we instead used a crane. Same deal in Cali.

I read the official release. All they said was they have not asked the FAA permission! They admitted wanting one!

Dont believe the coverup!

Well of course they're not going to admit it. Duh!

At what point does it stop being a remote controlled toy and start being a drone? You can get a quadcopter with a camera at the toy store and you certainly don't need FAA permission.

Why build a drone when you can pick one up for a couple hundred bucks?

This seems like something that should belong in The Onion.

I have no doubt TMZ would probably have drones in the future, people are infatuated with Hollywood, the glamour and fame, why not send a drone overhead for a "private wedding" for few photos.

/In all honesty of all the ahole paporazzi, TMZ is listed as not the most hated, actually are most admired for being professional.

TMZ is already full of drones.

In 2013...On june 24th, TMZ became self aware

//but, luckily for humanity- in lieu of rampant killing it just sat down, had several mohitos, and angrily watched the view while bitterly looking at the job listings in the paper and thinking it wasn't getting any younger..

So they're not just gonna make stuff up like they normally do?

You have no expectation of privacy outside your home. That's why there are cameras everywhere.

If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.
