Honestly, there are worst Repubs to protest. Boehner isn't great, but he's not on my "List of People That Should Be Hunted Down by a Pack of Rabid Wolves".

Security to get into House/Senate office buildings is a lot lighter than it is to get into an airport. The Capitol itself is a little higher a level (no liquids and they check your bags for explosives unless you're credentialed), but still not as much a pain as an airport is. You can carry a small pocket knife, for example, and they don't check your shoes. Of course, you are escorted by a staff member at all times in there, at least if you're not on a tour. Of course, if you are on a tour, you're escorted by a tour guide, and the entire complex has its own police force, who are most decidedly not the neutered mall cops the TSA are. Less security, much better policing.

Also, the news report I heard on NPR said they removed their clothes once inside. Protesters and advocacy groups come in to meet with people all the time, so seeing the AIDs tee shirts and whatnot that they were probably wearing wouldn't be at all unusual. Of course, hearing about it, I was kind of sad I missed it. I was in a meeting in one of the Senate buildings this afternoon, though I think it was all over by the time I got there.

Too bad his district is jerrymandered so bad nobody bothered to run against him. I couldn't think of anyone to write in until after I left, So I just didn't vote on that seat.

Ah, there's that story I'd heard about this afternoon from an old school friend.

Still, you'd think they'd choose someone with influence to protest.
