We would eat it on Thanksgiving AND Christmas so I get a big craving for it around this time of year. There is only one place in Brooklyn that sells it. Holy smokes, although it is not how I would prepare it (I like it like a burrito with cod, lutefisk, butter, and salt rolled up in a potato lefse) I am so ordering this. http://www.marinamarket.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=161360
gittlebass: I lived in bay ridge for a while in the scandinavian section, they had one store that sold it and it was always sold out
RoyFokker'sGhost: Meh. Try surviving an Amber Throne War, much less winning it.There's plenty of Larps out there with more emphasis on character development and socio-political maneuvering. They don't have to be the extremes of "fireballfirballfireballfireballfireball" and 'womyn's drum circle'.Beginning of November, I was at a con where I played in a Baron Munchausen game with 4 other players where the theme was 'superhero bar' instead of 'Prussian nobility in a tavern'. Between the 5 of us, over the course of 4 hours we drank (irl, not in game) a bottle of Kraken, 1 bottle of red wine, half a bottle of whiskey, and various beers and nightcaps. The highlight was the guy playing Rorschach saying "I liked the chocolatini, it reminded me of an abattoir full of retarded children".
