Oh, don't tell us some fanboy with a blog was just spouting off a random bit of hope that had not possibility of being true. Here? On the internet? Who would do such a thing?

If it's on the Internet, it's totes true!

As much as I love the Nolan trilogy, I'm glad they ended on that note. It's self contained and leaves the door open for that character without needlessly dragging it on and on.

Face it, Dark Knight/Nolan fans: there will be another Batman movie.

Who will play Apache Chief?

Any rumor that anyone will invest millions in a movie in which Batman is not Bruce Wayne can be confidently dismissed.

Not to open the gates of Hell, but would this really be that bad? I mean they can basically re-invent the DC universe as they see fit the way Marvel studios did. You can't say those films haven't been entertaining, even though not comic-canon.

Adam West is the ONLY Batman!
Ditto for the car he drove.

I guess... Because he's the hero movie goers deserve, but not the one they need right now. So we'll remake him. Because he can take it.

there's going to be a JLA movie? is it really going to happen, or is WB and DC going to fall all over each other to screw it all up.

It cant be worse than Afflek in Daredevil.

I'm actually amazed they haven't done a good reboot of that. It's great source material and we're still in superhero fever.

JGL as Batman? Nah. As Robin in a Teen Titans flick? Definitely.

i hate the eye mask. it doesn't hide anything! and in this day and age how are they not worried about leaving hair/blood everywhere.

I'll start paying attention to JLA casting rumors when principal photography starts.

And even then I won't rule out the possibility of re-shoots.

Of course! It's just that Nolan's treatment was a watermark for Superhero movies.

I look forward to other interpiations.

Other superheros don't even make sense in Nolan's Batman universe. How long was Batman out of commission while a madman held one of, if not the, largest US cities hostage with a nuclear device? Was everyone else unavailable? Good god, even Aquaman would have been useful in discretely helping those exiled after they fall in the water. However, I'm guessing the same problem arises when applying that line of reasoning to a lot of multi-superhero universes.

I have no idea how tall JGL, but I want to think he's clearly much shorter than CB thus making him kind of a funny looking short Batman.

Like the way supervillains habitually only ever attack one city, and in that city almost always face the same superhero? Or the way that superheroes routinely insist on facing the one villain whose power is most dangerous to them?

I hold out hope for the storyline where Iron Man gets on the phone and says "Human Torch? Hi! Iron Man here. Listen, could you pop over and take care of The Melter for me? And in return, I'll step in next time Firehose Man comes looking for you."

Too indistinct for me to judge. I WILL say that he would have been the perfect villain to reinvigorate the Superman franchise.

Truth be told I would have preferred working Terry McGinnis into Dark Knight Rises rather than inventing a new character for JGL. That said I kind of liked him in DKR and if it were handled well I'd pay money to see him in the Batarmor.

So they will turn Batman into the Dread Pirate Roberts? Just a random guy who uses the legacy to instill the necessary fear?

No one would surrender to the Dread Pirate Westley.

I've been an unabashed JGL fan since I saw Brick. I liked the idea someone had of having Lucius fix him up with a Batman Beyond suit.

don't try and reason with a torrent of gloopy internet fangasm...

fantards are like "born again" Christians except that i have met two born again Christians that were "reasonably" intelligent..... how are they alike?

1-They both suffer from the grandiose delusion that someone out there is listening to them.

2-They think their opinion is important because they are under another delusion that their "opinion" is unique. They are the true and only vessel of "the word".

3-Both are usually "broken people" who in great desperation, reach out for an external hero/mythology/fantasyworld to make things better..

so fantards, remember:

1-
no one cares about your casting choices,LEAST of all Hollywood.

2-you aren't unique, you are just another meatbag at the Bargain Bin parking lot in bad clothes with screaming crotchfruit that will die in a war or contract clown cancer...you know..the funneh kind..
that is if you ever slept with anyone who didn't have themselves sterilized right after...

3- unless you work in a computer cube farm making the drivel you love so much, playing with little plastic dolls and collecting Chinese or Korean made figurines is not only immature and unprofessional, it's why your friends select you and not the other way around...

so you enjoy...

Hollywood can make (most people) as tall or short as they want. There's a classic story that on the Western town set at Universal, the doorways on one side of the street were larger than the ones on the other: heroes were shot in the small doorways, making them look larger, while villains were shot in over-sized doorways, making them appear smaller.

But generally, all it takes is an apple box and a good camera angle.

Actually, they make the damsels go through the bigger doors, to make them look smaller, more fragile. Old school westerns weren't into that women's lib thing.

I would be VERY ok with this, so long as they somehow get Ron Perlman to play Deathstroke or at least let him provide the voice the same way they had James Earl Jones voice Darth Vader. His voice was too perfect for the cartoon and seeing/hearing anyone else doing it live action would kind of ruin the illusion for me. Perlman's getting on in years, but I'm willing to bet he's still badass enough to do it.
