tfa: Why do we need the whole pig if all we want is the bacon?

tell you what TFA, next time you slaughter a pig to harvest its bacon, go ahead and give the rest of the meat to me. I think my smoker and I will manage without the bacon.

Since we can trace the product back to a pork cell donor then all the equipment involved is unclean and must be buried in dirt.

I am not a Rabbi or a Jew but I've broken bagels with a few.

I read another article about this that was much more informational. It said the "bacon" they've grown feels more like a scallop.
