Recognizing women's interest in the NFL, the league has sought to find new ways to cultivate female fans' passion for the game. One of the most significant things that the NFL has done recently to accomplish this, is overhauling its women's apparel strategy fitting Ben Roethlisberger with a chastity belt.

I like how the ads for these all show flat-tummied hotties in form-fitting jersesys, despite the reality of the sort of hog-like woman who actually shuffle around Walmart wearing a jersey.

Your problem there is that you went to Walmart. The girls I know that have jerseys are normal including a few petite friends.

Yeah, I envy a team that lost to Cleveland, Oakland, and Tennessee. And to Tebow last year in the playoffs.

Two comments into the thread, and the Steelers fans get butthurt.

sorry, none of my team's QBs (current or former) have been charged with rape.

The older I get the more I think only females and kids should be wearing jerseys.

And on a thread about a story about women's apparel at that. Who would think the Steelers had a problem with women?

well, a lot of those fashion companies who make those ads don't make clothing for the astronomically large... jersey's on the other hand...
