Challenge them to play Ani DiFranco's To The Teeth.

They will never play it, I guarantee it. You'll get some bullshiat about how they "can't find it" or something.
Actually, how can I get in touch with them? I'd like to give them this challenge myself.

Nothing like having a charity event play something like 'Slayer - Necrophiliac'.

Or anything by Cranium, preferably 'raped by demons'.

I really love Los Colorados doing that Katy Perry song. I don't know how trolltastic it is, it's just awesome. If you can listen all the way through without smiling you have no soul.

I would suggest the Sundown Playboys, a French cajun band that caught the attention of Ringo Starr and was published on the Beatles' Apple Label. There is even a digitally remastered version of this track available.

I would also suggest Ding Dong the Witch is Dead by Klaus Nomi.

And of course throw in a bit (but only a bit) of Yoko Ono. I suggest: Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking For Her Hand In the Snow) It does have Eric Clapton on guitar to recommend it.

While we're at it, you could couple it with Anal coont's cover version of "American Woman" by the Guess Who.

First time I heard her was courtesy of my local campus radio station (the college was in the mountains of Western MD and because of where our antenna was we actualy had the strongest signal in the tri-state area (MD, W-VA, PA border region). DJs were basically allowed to play anything they felt like that wouldn't get a nasty-gram from the FCC. I remember stubmling back to my room at 2am one night after I'd left the radio on, and immediately feeling the need to grab a cross and some holy water because my radio was clearly possessed and broadcasting from hell itself: screams, chants in dead languages, moans of the damned. I found the overnight DJ the next morning and was llike DAFUQ was DAT? And thus began my flirtation with Diamanda Galas that even ended up with me seeing her live once...once.

cman: How could I forget about this one? If you feel like offing yourself after hearing this, dont blame me; you will be bringing it upon your self. Venga Boys is horrible, horrible music

This is better and more popular. Come for the crazy music and cheesy video and horrid choreography. Stay for the hot-ass blonde Dutch chick.

Too easy. The Rappin' Duke. Bad enough that the local DJ destroyed the vinyl rather than have to play it again.

I guess it is a matter of taste. As an electronic dance music enthusiast I do not mind that particular Vegaboys song.

Give the DJ a break. No seriously, let him take some time off.

Alice's Restaurant - Arlo Guthrie - 18 minutes 34 seconds (same length as what is missing from Nixon's tapes, mind you!)

The End - The Doors - 11 minutes 40 seconds

I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't DO That) - Meat Loaf - 12 minutes 1 second

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida - Iron Butterfly - 17 minutes 5 seconds

November Rain - Gins N Roses - 8 minutes 57 seconds

American Pie - Don McLean - 8 minutes 33 seconds

6 songs, 76 minutes and 50 seconds. Should cover a good nap. Just hope they don't charge by the minute.

Also a very good choice. Since it was for charity, I thought kill the poor was more appropriate :)
