This is a member of the Hall of Shame for "pointless stories that somehow get repeated by news outlets every year"

Other inductees include "March Madness wastes $100 trillion of worker productivity" and "college freshmen don't know what floppy discs are, don't you feel old now?"

I do not believe they're factoring in the cost of getting real lords-a-leaping, and using faux leaping lords ruins the entire effect. Of course, inflationary pressures have kept lords-a-leaping out of the comfortable price range of ordinary folk, but you shouldn't shirk on quality when it comes to these things I say.

/I blame Obama for not developing lords-a-leaping supplies over here.

''Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie."

There are no "five golden rings." Song is a lie.

BarkingUnicorn: Milking maids get only minimum wage?

Depends on what they're milking and what they look like. That number could go sky high.
