What an unpatriotic asshole.

The nerve of that guy, relying on "facts" and "common sense" and "personal experience" to form a reply to a question.

He needs to learn how to talk out of his ass more if he ever expects to be invited back on Fox.

Contractor's getting killed in Iraq does not equate contractor's getting killed in Libya nor the death of an ambassador.

Why? Is there a unfavorable conversion rate for the value of a human life across borders?

If you watch Fox News, there is.

Watch the Fox News Drone's face. You can see the moment when the klaxxon starts to sound.

Exactly, of course it doesn't equate. Obama wasn't up for re-election when the contractors were being killed in Iraq.

The only thing that could have made that better was if it had happened on Fox & Friends. Kilmeade might have collapsed to the floor and sh*t his pants while Doocy just drooled all over himself.

Not across borders, across administrations.

No, only when a Republican is President. Fox has been more outraged over these four deaths than the 3,000 on 9/11.

They keep saying this attack was worse than any others because four people were killed, including an ambassador. But there was an attack on the consulate in Karachi whe Bush was in office where 4 people were killed, including American diplomat David Foy, who seems to have been specifically targeted. The difference? The other 3 people killed in that attack were Pakistani.
So yea, apparently some human lives are worth more than others.

Nah, borders count. Outside of the US, it's hard to presume a Tea Party connection and therefore justify a month of nonstop coverage on every news network that isn't Fox. So, instead of weeks of hand-wringing about Giffords, assault rilfes, and the use of target icons, we get one ethnic minority jailed for a YouTube video -- and admitting that is just embarrassing.

Or the 3000 Americans killed during the Iraq war?

Those don't count either do they?

How to get kicked off Fox News in a hurry? Easy. When the Barbizon model talking head asks you a question, no matter what it is about, say the following: "How does it feel to know you're being pimped out by Roger Ailes to ensure the aging audience of this network can still get a boner?" When the look of disbelief slowly forms over their sculpted and Botoxed brow, follow up with: "Also, can you articulate why this network hates President Obama so irrationally without it being related to skin color, perceived religion, or his name?"

You'll be gone in less than a minute.

2012-11-26 06:36:14 PM
All this time spent discussing the minutia of the Benghazi attack will pay off for them big time, I can feel it!
Someone somewhere is going to so get fired...or scolded or something! Don't mess with those tea-tards, you will taste the wrath.

I do enjoy how the Fox News Freakouts on Fark think that wildly off topic non-sequitor of a fallacious response constitutes an intelligent response.

So what do you think about Benghazi?
IRAQ!
WTF?

The proper response would have been to call him out on his failure to answer the question and moving the goal posts. On FARK he gets a Hero tag.

Exactly.

He should've mentioned the dozen embassy attacks that have occurred over the past 10 years that Fox News has ignored .

Man, that Obama is a slippery one. First he got away with being a Muslin, then the big school transcript deception of 2012 (who can forget that), and now people are just going to let him go and kill all those people in Benghazi...and no one is doing anything! Quick, to the keyboards...

2012-11-26 06:40:33 PM
Co-anchor Jon Scott pushed back, asking "When you have four people dead, including the first U.S. ambassador, for the first time in more than 30 years, how do you call that hype?"

"How many security contractors died in Iraq? Do you know?" Ricks shot back.

"I don't," replied Scott.

"Nobody does because nobody cared," Ricks said. "We know several hundred died but there was never official count of security contractors in Iraq. When I say this focus was essentially on a small fire-fight, I think, number one, I've covered a lot of fire-fights and it is impossible to figure out what happens in them sometimes."

Ricks then took another open shot at Fox News: "I think the emphasis on Benghazi has been extremely political, partly because Fox is operating as the wing of Republican Party."

At that point, Scott cut the interview short: "Tom Ricks, thanks for joining us today."

That's funny.

It was a legitimate hull breach, Newscorp has ways to shut that whole thing down.

How is it a non-sequitor? He used it as an example of how it was hyped, by pointing out they did not breathlessly spend as much time on all the contractors that died in Iraq, and all the embassy attacks. Or even, you know, the premise the whole war was sold on not even being there. He basically used it as an example, in that sometimes, in firefights, you *NEVER* find out what happened, because they're chaotic by their very nature.

Which is another reason he thought it was hyped.

No, it means you're sucking Megyn Kelly's dick and the deliciousness of said member is clouding your judgment, which is usually formed after sucking the zombified dick of Reagan.
