Touchdown?

ChipNASA: Touchdown?

Hell Yeah!

Can't believe he got elected in the first place. Kind of shocked that hey actually turffed him, 2 years in.

2012-11-26 11:05:43 AM
Dammit. Was just submitting this.

The best part is his defense was ignorance. That he's never read any conflict of interest act or any training materials.

This dickbag was elected by the rich to pander to the rich.

He'd be perfectly at home as a republican.

I hope the screen door DOES hit him on the way out.

Glenford: Here's (Former) Mayor McCheese showing off his football skills

That made my office crack up for a good 10 minutes straight a few days ago.

There's another one where someone photoshopped Mario putting a banana peel behind him.

I can't find it, but here's another fail.

I saw that one too. Personally, I"m disappointed...I was hoping he would even get re-elected. The lulz he brings are too good to pass up.

Mind you, he's not my mayor...I'd be pissed if he was.

No, it was that he voted to cancel a ruling that he needed to pay back the money.

You can't vote to reverse an ethics ruling against yourself.

He will be in office for another 14 days until the deputy mayor takes over. However, Ford can try to stay the judgment. If successful, he can exhaust his appeals - and you can bet he will do just that - while remaining in office. So, it sounds like we're not rid of the moron yet.

elk-tamer: So his crime was using city letterhead to raise money for children's sports?

He also did other things like unfairly influence public works to fix infrastructure around his own businesses ahead of schedule and he allegedly diverted municipal resources to his own personal use.

Now. Toronto. Can you PLEEEEASE elect someone who isn't a colossal dillhole?

/I'll still take Mayor Mel over Mair Lair anyday

Man, this sucks. It promised to be a 3 year train wreck, and now it has been cut short. Maybe he'll run to lead the provincial PC's.

Nah, he didn't pander to the rich, he pandered to the selfish. Which admittedly has a large overlap, but all rich aren't selfish, and many selfish aren't rich.

And it's almost certain he'll appeal this, so it's not - sadly - over with yet.

No one else in the vote seemed to know that. It took a few weeks for a private citizen to complain about it. I expect that he'll win the appeal.

In his defence, Ford told the court in September that he didn't remember ever receiving or reading the councillors' handbook that outlines the rules, and that he believed he hadn't done anything wrong.

Riiiiight, the "I didn't get the employee handbook" defense.

This guy was one of the most anti-bicycle mayors in North America!

It's a great day for Toronto, we won the Grey Cup and Ford is gone.

Maybe he can coach is football team tomorrow like he planned to all along, instead of, you know, attending a council meeting to discuss next year's operating budget.

You only get three downs in Canadian football because everyone would rather be playing or watching hockey anyway and it speeds up the game so people have more time to put on their skates.

"It is difficult to accept an error in judgement defence based essentially on a stubborn sense of entitlement ... and a dismissive and confrontational attitude to the Integrity Commissioner and Code of Conduct," Superior Court Judge Charles Hackland wrote.

The most irritating and obnoxious you can possibly imagine.

Spoiled by a super-rich dad. Huge sense of entitlement. Enormous superiority complex.

Has done more harm to the City of Toronto than I ever thought possible.

The douchiest douche that ever douched.
