When Imelda dies, will she be kept in state for a few years in a Buddhist monastery before she's allowed back into the Phillipines begrudgingly like her hubby?

Actually, she is a Member of the Philippine House of Representatives from Ilocos Norte's Second District since 2010, as well as a couple of failed presidential bids in 1992 and 1998

/Something something short memory and/or money and advertising makes people forget I suppose

As well as Member of the Philippine House of Representatives from Leyte's First District, between June 30, 1995 and June 30, 1998, as per the previous link

My dad is always making Imelda Marcos jokes at my mom's expense, since she has boxes of shoes stuffed in her closet that she hardly ever wears.

Weren't the Marcos' criminal clan propped up by our very own State Department?

This woman is clearly a heel. She loafed about with these paintings until some poor sole in Europe made the purchase, even though he was not pumped about it. The fact that she tip toed around the government like a kitty on mary jane, to keep her ill gotten gains from a slide back to the people of the Philippines. She intentionally attempted to clog the process as much as possible. I wouldn't be surprised though to see the government flip-flop on this one. Ah well, maybe if she can get a decent pair of work shoes to help her get some of the wealth back to her country this issue would be forgotten about. Stiletto, I doubt any funds will be returned.

You only screw a portion of the population, they teach the people that if they don't want to get screwed they should be on your side, because they will get presents
