How come Cutler doesn't get more fired up on the sidelines? Where's his heart? I don't know if that guy really wants it. Is he even playing to win? He needs to be physical. He should come to play.

Come on. It's okay. You can laugh at the little joke without losing your man card.

Since there is no thread, Rickey Hatton's comeback fails, as he is unable to get up after a body shot in the 9th.

They cleared the concussion, but didn't say anything about the cranial / rectal inversion problem he seems to always have...

The offense had better work on its tackling.

Is it just me or should there be a Jay Cutler/Jay Cutler meme since there is both a NFL player and a Mr Olympia of the same name.

To be fair, it isn't like they are world beaters at run blocking either. And Cutler is way tougher than Forte.

Well, keep in mind, Gabe Carimi is NOT that bad a tackle, at least he wasn't at Wisconsin. But he looked to be literally on roller skates this last weekend. And their LEFT tackle isn't any better.

The up side is Percy Harvin isn't even making the trip this weekend, so really what they have to worry about is AP. No small order, but the rest of the Vikings offense is fairly pedestrian otherwise.

If Cutler's back, they should win fairly handily.

Vikes could be stronger this game without Percy. Means Rudolph is going to play a much larger role. Bears cant defend a tight end to save their life. Minny should just follow the 49ers strategy with plenty of play action.

No idea how the Bears are going to protect cutler. Robinson or Allen may end his career tomorrow.

In the last 3 seasons, the Bears are 24-10 when Cutler is the starting QB. When he does not start, they are 2-6. Cutler's QB rating with the Bears has been 81.8. His replacements (see the hallowed REPLACEMENT VALUE touted by statisticians) have been 61.7, 41.6, and 5.9. All the guy does is win.

And if it was Alex Smith, Tony Romo or Michael Vick it wold be 75 turnovers. All Jay has done is be a solid quarterback on a shiatty offense. His biggest offense has been wounding the ego of shiatty offensive linemen and not smiling.

I gotta admit, as a Redskins fan, I never thought he got a fair shake in DC. So he goes to Oakland where nobody gets a fair shake. I really thought that going to Chicago, he was a low-rate #1, top-rate #2, who could go on to be a long-term career backup QB, along the likes of former Redskins QB Gus Frerrotte. Now, I think he could very well find himself out of the league as soon as the end of the season.

bionicjoe: You miss the Jets game?

First of all, of course I didn't watch that game. It was obviously going to be a joke of a game because the Jets are awful, so I chose that game to get some AC3 in. Patriots did a lot of slaughtering, but in an enjoyable way when I do that.

Secondly, yes, the Jets are awful. But they didn't give up 5.5 sacks to one damn player.

5.5 because he had 2 that ended up not sacks because he forced fumbles. Should have been 7.5.

Until he got "knocked out the week before" Jay Cutler had the highest rating in the 4th for QBs. So he has that going for him. I think the Bears should have him play a 2 Qtr. scrimmage before the start of the game so he is totally into it on the first possession. He has had to work with Mrtz who nearly got him killed last year. And at least this year Mike Tice, has decided that he really needed to work with the O-line and get them ready every week. Remember he has not had the same O-coordinator for more than a year. IF the Bears keep Tice another year or 2 I think we may see something out of Smokin' Jay (provided he can stay healthy).

As for Jason Campbell, he looked rusty and not ready to be in that game. He was slow.

And McClown, was released before the end of preseason and just brought back just this last week. He may know some of the play-book but he's not an effective back-up.

I have almost given up on "Da Bears" making the playoffs. I know they need to get rid of a few players on the O-line and pick up some good prospects. They are also going to be hurting on Defense very soon. So I hope they realize that the need all the draft picks they can get to begin a rebuild and still win (ala NE, how the f' do they do that every year?).

Nah, his biggest offense was angering Rick Reilly - who has created/championed the "body language" patrol since his Denver days.

Since when does a FF negate a sack? As far as I've ever known it's been that they get both.
