bhcompy: On paper the Clippers have one of the best and deepest teams in the league. The problem is going to be guard minutes if everyone is healthy.Really, though, the key to their success isn't their superstars, they're going to get theirs. It's DeAndre Jordan. He looks to have turned the corner offensively, and if he maintains it and continues to improve, that's what is going to put the team deeper in the playoffs.
coolio mack: I still can't buy into Blake Griffin as a superstar. Yeah he's going to put up some nice numbers and he's going to go to the all-star game every year. But he's come up pretty small down the stretch in some of these games, especially last year during the playoffs. And throughout his career, he hasn't put much effort into playing defense, though he has gotten better this year. That team will go as far as Chris Paul takes them in the playoffs. If he can get back to playing to his near MVP level when he was with the Hornets, then they have a really good shot. And I do agree with the article that their overall backcourt is their strong suit. They might even consider trading one or two of those guys to bring in a defensive oriented big like a Marcus Camby.
Free Radical: Age be damned, the Lakers have the best back court in the league.
