Richard Roma: No more jazz? Now what are poseurs going to pretend they like in a sad attempt to appear intelligent?
Hunter_Worthington: now, we can all listen to the notes they're not playing.
cryinoutloud: I really hate jazz music. It's like country music
Martstar: /And now a solo on my trombone that was left out in the rain....
WTF Indeed: Jazz isn't dead. Just like Big Band music isn't dead. They just aren't burning up the charts and being played until 4am anymore. Hell, in a few years Rock n' Roll will be as "dead" as Jazz is.
theflatline: Thank god my home town New Orleans still exists, and as long as it does jazz will not die./and please just say no to european jazz fusion.
BattleFrenchie28: As someone who's taking a "The History of Jazz" class, I'm getting a kick out of this thread./until I realized I still haven't done the 10 page analysis of "The Preacher" by Horace Silver due next Friday//then I'm not getting much of a kick
cman: Yeah, I think I am gonna have to go with Electronic Dance Music over Jazz
