And this one appears as I'm submitting my own.

FFPL report to follow in the gap between the early and standard kick-offs.

Executive Summary: 'Ow, my balls!'

I have a feeling this week's going to suck as well in Fitba. Way too many bogey fixtures.

West Brom and Norwich did a real number on every one.

Things i have finally learned

1. Don't bet against West Brom
2. Newcastle are not the team they were last season.

Plus for a nice bit about Fergie time

Yup - the number of -30's for bankers confidently placed on either Fulham or Newcastle winning was pretty high.

Injuries doing us in this season, but perhaps this is closer to our real level than the over-achievement of last year? I did say before the season started that the Euro Cup means more games for not much reward in all likelihood.

Quite a bit of news swirling around QPR and Chelsea.

Looks like QPR gave 'arry Redknapp a two year deal, while over at Chelsea, Benitez is saying that Lampard and Cole are likely gone at the end of the season. Seems like a harsh way to point them to the door.

There will be agents agitating behind the scenes. Benitez is signalling he might only be a temp, but that means he doesn't have to put up with the crap.

See Beckham's agent: 'A host of top league clubs are interested, PSG have already made an offer'.
PSG: 'Who?'

John O Shea gets his walking papers, and Sunderland down to ten already. Good thing I pick the Baggies to win then eh?

Nope - card went other way.

Totally agree. As good as West Brom has been, I'm taking a risk to say that Sunderland will park the bus and play them to a draw today. I'm most confident of Man Utd beating QPR, but I still put my banker chip on Everton to beat Norwich (no offense, Norfolking Chance).

My insurance chip is on Chelsea hosting Man City at Stamford Bridge. I think City will eke out a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge, but I wouldn't really be surprised at any result from that game. Both teams have the quality to blow out a team that isn't focused. Which team will lose focus? Your guess is as good as mine. Both teams have looked amazing sometimes this season, both teams have looked vulnerable other times. Chelsea has had more distractions this week for sure. Will being at home settle them or put more pressure on them?

That's what I get for listening to the match and not watching the match. Damn you BBC radio.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with that. Naturally, I'm up to sixth.

2-0, and I'm a Sunderland goal from a perfect. Don't think it's going to end like that though.

I have to work this morning, so I'll be missing the second half of the late fixtures. Have WBA 2-1 as well, but also doubt that's where it'll end up.

I had that, but in a moment of weakness I switched to the draw. I'll take any points loss for a mackem loss at home.

I'll be honest, my banker is on Everton as well, though if the match was at Carrow Road I most likely would not have done so.

I'm not going to name names, but one local Norwich supporter had the MUFC game down as a 2-4 loss last weekend.

In relation to the Nani discussion from ages ago, here's an article saying they want to get rid of him. (In English half-way down the page).

Is it bad that I instantly knew they were Ole, Cantona, Cole, Yorke (or do I have them switched? Fark me I could never tell. You know us black people, we all look alike), Ruud and VDS?
Ole looks old as hell.

Eh, you'll gain on me. I thought Sunderland would defend better, was hoping for a 1-1 snoozer

Man Sunderland is bad, they can't even park the bus correctly. It galls me that we lost to them at home last week.

Sweet, 5 extra points.

Its now 3-2. Come on West Brom keep the ball, i need those 15 points!

Back to the result.

Well done Steve Clarke!

2-4 was the obvious score really.

I didn't wake up early enough to put in my scores for the west brom game, but I'm pretty sure the website will put it down as a west brom win so hopefully I get 10 points for that. I have my banker on Arsenal winning, but you never know and I'll be happy either way.

I'm hoping I don't have much housework to do so I can watch the Man Utd match. The follies of visiting the parents for thanksgiving break.

Why would that be bad? They're all legends.

2012-11-24 09:49:45 AM
I had a boring 0-0 for that game. Was going to change the Chelsea game to 0-0 (for old times sake) and give WBA a 1-0 win. But I didn't. As soon as I stop underestimating Steve Clarke, they'll lose. Guaranteed.

2012-11-24 10:01:59 AM
Yet another bizarre line-up today. I give up trying to figure it out.

Carrick and Giggs in a Premier League game.

Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson, Cleverley and Powell in a Champions League dead rubber.

Scholes and Fletcher in a Premier League game.

FFPL Report - Gameweek 12

The first line of last weeks report was very nearly 'will this be the week when one or more players break through the 1000 point mark?' Ouch. A very large number of players posted -30s for their banker games - concentrating on the NUFC Vs Swans and the Fulham Vs Mackem games. The sole NCFC supporter predicted a 2-4 home loss against MUFC. As an illustration of the chaos, The_Envoy was -30 for the week, but went up 1 place.
I retain top spot, despite suffering a net dip. Cognitive_Displaysia drops one to third, thanks to Obamartins sneaking past, +20 being an above average score this week. Constituents of the top five are unchanged, but the Toon supporters are in an incrementally stronger position even than last week, apart from the bright red stain of elguepardo, the top 8 is looking monochromatic with the mix of NUFC, Spurs and Fulham supporters.
At the bottom, mitchcumstein1 continues his lonely fight against zombie players. Inevitably the zombies are going to wear him down.

TottenhamLukewarmspur streets ahead with +100. Five players scored -50, 3 more scored -60. In other weeks, that would be a performance to draw notice but this week is different! Step forward [back?] BJmichel, DJBigbird, DesertGeek and Juicepats who all managed a robust -70.

TottenhamLukewarmspur is also the highest riser, moving up 5 places whilst Adubs86, 30/30 and Lost_Limey edge up 4 spots. Juicepats and BJmichel both went down five, but the biggest drop of the week was recorded by 689908, falling 6.

BB club remains small. A few green shoots here and there but Club President is obamartins, retaining his +20 for another week.
