Next week's Pinkie Pie extravaganza?

We just had a Pinkie Pie extravaganza last week, which did get a thread!

You mean there's ANOTHER Pinkie Pie extravaganza coming?

Sorry, I meant last week.

When was there a Pinkie Pie thread? I was here and watching the show, I missed it.

Also, I'm looking forward to next week's episode so much, I musta just projected that.

They've been very nice about giving us weekly Pony threads this season.

There must have been a study done showing that a weekly Pony thread keeps Ponies out of other threads, or something.

Sometimes the CMC episodes turn out good (Family Appreciation Day, Gabby Gums), sometimes they don't.

Why not try Youtube?

The episodes are all on there in HD. And as long as someone doesn't upload the iTunes HD version of the episode, Hasbro doesn't seem to give a damn.

The only lesson in bullying I want is instructions on how to reduce grown men who watch little kids shows to tears.

I don't imagine it would be that hard.

No, they're dolls. No articulation.

fc07.deviantart.net

See any joints? I sure as hell don't.

But the toys aren't the thing I like. I like the fact you've got titans like Tara Strong and Kathleen Barr going head to to head in the same show with bad ass (for flash) animation and traditional Looney Tunes style cartoon antics all to the tune of a really good story with characters created by Lauren Faust.

The only way it could be better is by pulling even more A-listers. If Paul Dini and Pendleton Ward were working on the scripts and Mark Hammil, John Dimaggio, and Billy West were regular characters and Tim Curry dropped by from time to time it would bed better, but really even that would just be gilding the lily. They've already Tara Strong, Tabitha St Germain, Kathleen Barr, and John De Lancie on board. Faust is gone, but hopefully they writers have got the idea. Next week will be the true test of this season.

Tara Strong is the main character of the whole show, which was created by Lauren Faust.

That is enough. If you know anything about animation beyond "It's animated." then I don't need to tell you anything else. If those names mean nothing to you, you'll just have to trust me that it's good.

When you finally do watch it, and like it, you'll have to come to terms with that.
