Sometimes, drummers consciously adjust the tempo while they're playing to adjust the momentum or energy level in a part/song.

/and some drummers simply can't keep steady time (this guys seemed to have a decent handle on the song for me to believe the former)
//has played to a click (in studio and live) for the past 10+ years
