That article would have been a lot more interesting if a sample of the music was provided.

But then I thought to myself, 'Self. Yes? You don't like dubstep. Yes, I know. So why are you trying to find a link to it? Curiosity, I guess. Then why don't you click the Download Album button at the bottom of the article? Well, Other Self, I'm pretty lazy and don't care about it *that* much. But you care about it enough to have this internal dialog. Yes. You're awesome. Yes, I know.'

I downloaded the album and I'm on the second song. It's definitely an interesting sound. Thus far the bpm hasn't been fast enough to call it dubstep but I like the sound. I'm going to give it a listen in full.

Looks like I spoke to soon... there is definitely dubstep in this album. What a unique combination.

It may not be everyone's thing but this is something you definitely don't hear every day!

i like that talent is not necessary to be a musician the past 20 years. after failing miserably with guitar and vocals i discovered a love for cheap battery operated noise making childrens toys. was hoping to frankenstein / circuit bend but found i'm too stupid to pull that off. have a huge farking box full of keyboards, drums, weird toys of all sorts. some days i just rip it up.

Interesting. Reminds me a bit of KUNM on Sunday afternoons.
musically, this sounds to me like a Native American take on what King Sunny Ade did with African music but with more drums.

Why would being from Canada make them non-Americans? It's the name of the continent. Just because us US nutjobs use it in our nation's name doesn't make it incorrect elsewhere for the original inhabitants of the western side of this planet.

At LAST!! I've been saying for a couple of years now how great it would be to see some modern upgrades to Pow Wow songs, and other traditional goodness. I'm of Cherokee descent, and was raised going to Pow Wow. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of being carried through crowded hallways full of men and women dressed in feathers and bells, the smell of fry bread, and in the background, no matter where you were, you could always hear the drums and the singing...

This is great stuff. Honestly, if I were to win the lottery, I'd probably pay these guys a visit and see how we can make more of this possible, from a whole lot more such artists.
