You can cheat but as long as you keep winning games, being successful, and generating lots of that sweet sweet revenue, the NCAA will conveniently always look the other way and let you continue along on your merry path. But once you start sucking and stop with the victories (read = you are no longer a profitable venture for them), the claws will suddenly come out again.
