A Clinton/Christie ticket would be unbeatable.

2012-11-21 04:06:38 PM
So you're saying his approval rating is rather substantial, larger than normal, hefty, perhaps even a bit obese?

2012-11-21 04:07:00 PM
Maybe he'll go the way of Charlie Crist.

Crist was cast out as unclean because he praised Obama for helping his state after the BP oil rig disaster. He committed the sin of being civil to the Commander in Chief.

Hey! Maybe a Cristie/Crist ticket! They can create a third party - The Apostates.

This is actually true.

Eh, not really. The GOP will kiss his ass if he becomes a front runner for the nomination in 2016. See: Mitt Romney.

You make a good point.

But consider who Mitt was running against in the primaries. GOPers would have been nuts NOT to accept him over the others.

You know who else had sky high popularity ratings after a big disaster struck New York City?

Oh, that adulterer who moved his mistress into Gracie Mansion while his wife still lived there and cleaned up Times Square by shipping all the hookers and homeless to Brooklyn? Yeah, can't remember his name, but I know who you're talking about.

FTC:

"Lots of Democrats voted for Republican Christie who they expected to govern as a moderate, reasonable bi-partisan. Of course they want him to work with Obama and the Federal government in the wake of the worst disaster they have ever experienced. Christie would have zero chance of reelection in a Democratic state if he behaved otherwise, a fact that seems to have escaped the Republican establishment who seems to believe in a one size fits all vision of Republican rule."

Such venom!!!

Republicans in Texas were raging that Christie DARED be nice to Obama. Accused him for homosexuality, RINOism, etc etc. The belief is that anything but death threats to Obama is horrible behavior; if Obama does something good or even just correct, you're not to even acknowledge it.

I love how the man decided to put political nonsense aside and put the well-being of the people in front of everything else..... and then the GOP has been attacking him pretty much nonstop for it.

Hey, GOP. Remember Katrina? I haven't been a fan of Christie, but he decided that he didn't want NJ to look like New Orleans post-Katrina. Some people want to make sure that never happens on U.S. soil again. Some people work towards an entire world where something that horrific won't happen, period. Of course, you are attacking those people. Why? Because Obama is still in the WH? Pathetic. That God you claim to worship would fark you up if he were real.

I agree with all of what you just said except that last sentence. Jesus would be pissed, but his father Jehovah would wonder why his followers had not slaughtered NJ residents by the town-full and left their burnt piles of carcasses as a warning to others. The judeo-christian god is probably one of the most thoroughly evil characters the human race has ever invented.

I'd actually throw alot of money behind him dust off the king air and campaign for him in 2016 if that is the scenario.

God really mellowed out when he had a kid.

On the other hand, I've always liked the Gnostic philosophy that the true god was the serpent that set man on the quest for knowledge.

Could you give us an example? Because I've seen nothing even close to nastiness aside from calling Cristie a "thug", which well, he is from New Jersey, and that's really not that bad.

Let's see:

Lets hope the lesson sinks in...
but I am afraid most Pubs are still drunk on tea.

Oooh, harsh...

Christie is a political thug, he attached himself to Obama to soften his image - probably prior to a 2016 tilt at the Whitehouse. I really think that we should offer him zero help in this endeavour even if it is only peripheral.

I will repeat: Christie is one nasty assed human being.

Okay a little harsh, but then:

Really?
You think the US government should deny emergency assistance to New Jersey because the governor is a Republican?

There's that bleeding heart, and:

Yeah, props to Christie for doing the right thing
but he's still a bully
and it will come out again.

Vindictive indeed, but then:

A thug, perhaps, but I doubt he had any motive beyond trying to get a handle on the destruction in Jersey & to reassure residents.

That seems more reasonable than a lot of Farkers to me.

We'll see. One thing's for certain ...
If Booker brings his "these Bain attacks sicken me" game, he'll lose. fark that weak shiat.

Dirty but not really that vindictive. And they're talking about a Democrat.

Christie looks not so rotund.
Is the governor dieting? He looks not so thick-in-the-middle compared to Obama. [Everybody looks fat next to Obama.]

They're even doing the opposite of fat jokes!

The LOLWUT stands. Please tell us where you see this vile hatred, I would love to see one quote that compares to even the mildest of Freeper comments.
