I'm normally loathe to break out the "c-word", but it seems awfully relevant here.

2012-11-21 01:41:21 PM
That is cruel. Especially when the poor in the U.S. are in such a terrible battle with obesity.

Does this biatch realize that millions of families will have to rely on donations or soup kitchens tomorrow for their holiday meal?

She should crack that joke in front of these families. Link

They never seem to run out of cold-hearted vapid twats at that network, do they?

I was truly saddened the other day when I went into Sam's Club around 5:30 in the afternoon, and it was pretty obvious that several families were using the free samples as dinner. Little kids walking around with several tiny cups in their hands. The $100 membership fee probably hurt them real bad, but if they do that several times a week, every week, it's surely worth it. Hopefully they only do it when times are tight, and not every single day.

And there were a lot more families going into Sams Club and buying one thing: A rotisserie chicken. Big ones for $4.99.

So many people seem to think that being on welfare and food stamps is some "woo! Free money!" party. It's not.

Which is to say, not heartless and ignorant.

Marcus Aurelius: FOX always seems to come up with the most vile pieces of human filth imaginable.

But remember, these ladies were picked from the "Victoria's Secret" catalog, and have all gone to college (according to Brian Kilmeade, the sexist host of their morning show). So they are allegedly sexy, somewhat educated pieces of filth, at least.

Fox News is weird with their on-air personalities.

Just from appearance, you get impression that every male on there is older than you, no matter how old you are.

And all the women have that Miss America look: where you know they're young and pretty but they're also somehow made up to look like older, wealthy country-club women.

When we went in this weekend, I said something sympathetic to one of the sample-givers. My Sam's usually hires the elderly for these positions, and there was a huge crush. He sort of whispered under his breath that it was open to the public and and the extra samples were really drawing people in. The lines to checkout were not that long, but it was hard to move down the food aisles because there was such a large crowd. Now you have me thinking that many of those people were just hungry, and I want to cry.

If the poors have a problem with this they should stop being so poor, it's so simple!

I remember back in the day (late 90s) before Fox got the right-wing derp machine up and running full tilt, they used to have a conservative commentator named Heather Nauert. There has never been a woman on Fox News since who has looked as good (she was on Politically Incorrect at one time I believe).

I think she disappeared as she was kind of old-school conservative and wasn't into the crazy-ass rhetoric they are into now (and were moving towards then). I remember she appeared on Hannity once (in a "pundit window"). Hannity was asking her insanity-laced and leading questions akin to the kind of "discussion" you now see on Fox. She almost broke out laughing and you could see she clearly thought Hannity was going over the top and was having a hard time responding even though she was "on his side" supposedly (it was almost as if she thought he was joking).

You know what might be a good way for a, I don't want to say morbidly obese, but, you know, rapidly thickening around the middle, you know what I mean, right, honey?, I mean, come on, have you looked in a mirror lately, and you think they're going to keep you on the air with those rolls of, well, anyway, a good way for a Faux News hostess to shed some of the 50 or 60 extra pounds she seems to have gained in the past few weeks, would be to start throwing up everything you eat, just stick your finger down your throat and there goes all the calories, and what can go wrong, honey, so try that out and...oh you say you already do that, well hm, because you still look pretty chunky to me, but then I suppose there are some local stations out in, I don't know, Mississippi that would probably still hire you, where you wouldn't look that much fatter than the average person, or maybe you could try just not eating at all.

Glad I could help. Happy Thanksgiving.

Philip Francis Queeg: I bet the farking scumbag claims to be a Christian.

It amazes me how many self-proclaimed Christians have nothing but disdain for the poor. It is assumed that they are nothing more than lazy grifters who all have iPhones and Jordans on their feet.

Good thing I'm not eating dinner at my in-laws tomorrow or I would be hearing that same BS.

"'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'

"Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'

"The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.' "
