Big surpise. chelsea has the managerial attention span of a 2 year old on meth

Abramovich's antics would make George Steinbrenner blush...or take notes.

2012-11-21 09:50:33 AM
Come on, Abramovich, are you trying to make me stop caring? This is farking ridiculous.

So who's next, Pep the "Free Agent?" Or will Murinho bolt Real Madrid for Chelsea?

While I love seeing Chelsea fail, I liked Di Matteo and thought he did a pretty decent job for them. At least I'm now free to like him openly.

/hopefully this might give us a leg up at the bridge in 2 weeks.

The worst part of this is that somehow, Mark Hughes has outlasted RdM. That's what's sad.

Benitez to Chelsea, RdM to QPR. Book it.

/ of course now that I've said that, watch it not happen.

I'd sack that for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a midnight snack.

Oh, not who I was thinking of.

In other news, Manchester United have had the same manager since 1986.

I had Hughes to be the first to go as well.

The money will have to be good because going to Chelsea will mean you have to deal with lots of massive ego's who are almost over the hill with no direct replacements and an owner who wants results now.

What the fark is Chelsea doing? Have they forgotten that di Matteo took a team that was crap at the time and managed them to be UCL champions!? Not having seen any of their last 3-4 matches, is there anything telling anyone that the team is just not listening to him or what? If not, this is stupid and Chelsea deserves to fail.

Roman has a boner for Torres and sacks anyone who benches his Spanish barbie.

As disturbing as that sounds, it wouldn't shock me if it was true.

Di Matteo is the first Premier League manager to be sacked this season? Called it in August.

/Can anyone who clicks that link please ignore the bit about West Brom finishing 19th. Ta.

And Abramovich thinks that he'll get Guardiola?! Really?! If he could oust Mourinho after a series of meh results, Guardiola should just sit it out...maybe wait for Wenger to retire/quit at Arsenal instead.

689908: 262 - Roberto Di Matteo lasted 262 days as Chelsea manager, longer than Villas-Boas (256), Grant (247) & Scolari (223). Fired.

Ranieri sacked. Jose sacked. Avram sacked. Phil sacked. Carlo sacked. AVB sacked. RDM sacked. John Terry dealt with internally.

Why on earth would Pep want to go there?

Shockingly. Also playing for Malaga: Roque Santa Cruz. Never thought I see the two of them again.

An un-named source on BBC Radio 5 Live said that Chelsea have paid more in compensation to sacked managers than Everton have spent on players in the premier league era.

Pepe looks to be the wanted man but if he went to an EPL team would it be Man City or Chelsea? After leaving Barca due to the pressure would he want to go back to a job in a different country with the same pressure?

If i was forced to bet it would be Benitez until the end of the season to give Chelsea enough time to lure Pepe.

A) This move is stupid.

B) Does this mean get to stop hearing "We know who we are" from the Chelsea fans?

But this is is who they are. They fire their coach in less than a year. Say what you want, but at least it's an ethos.

So Benitez will be interim manager until the end of the week.

Season. I meant season.

/Or until Mancini is fired by Man City, whichever is sooner

What's really pathetic is that Rafa will be the 9th Chelsea manager in the 9 years Abramovich has owned the club. That's NOT a recipe for success.

I hate Chelsea as much as anyone, but since Abramovich has taken over, they've won 2 League Cups, 4 FA Cups, 3 Premier League championships, and 1 Champions League championship. How much more do you need to consider them a success?

As far as Roman goes, winning every single competition they're in.

I know it's unrealistic, but we are talking about Abramovich here.

True, and let's think about how things are right now.

EPL: 3rd place, 4 pts out of 1st. Only trailing the Manchester teams who are inconsistent with their quality.

UCL: Can advance to the knockout round with a win and a Juventus loss on Matchday 6.

They're not in bad shape at all right now, so this move gets dumber and dumber every time I think about it.

Morinho had a good run, take him out and it's seven managers in the last five.

Glad Rafa is back in the PL, he's always good for entertainment. Really hope Chelsea bomb now though, they are a very unpleasent team.

This. The only thing restraining my dislike for Chelsea was my admiration for di Matteo, both in what he has wrung out of that squad and the way he has conducted himself.

The rumors are hot and heavy that they're going in for Falcao once the transfer window opens in January. If Chelsea can't even offer him CL football in February, don't think any amount of money will lure Falcao to Stanford Bridge. City now are out too of possibly going for Falcao as well since they're out of the CL.

Would love it if Arsenal made a cheeky offer for him, but the concerns now are a dominating CDM and a consistent LB.

As I stated earlier, if Roman can sack Mourinho after the run he had, how would Pep even consider going there with the understanding that if Chelsea struggled he'd be sacked.
