"Never behind the bench again"? Unlikely, if Marc Crawford gets hired again as a coach somewhere, this guy will make a great assistant for him.

Anybody know why he pointed them out after tripping them? Was he acting against them because of something they did during the game?

On a side note, this is Vancouver... they seem to take hockey a bit too seriously there.

"The 63-year-old Bowman told the 36-year-old Crawford that he knew his father before Crawford was even born and that his father wouldn't be proud of his son right now."

I'll grant you that. I was in Edmonton many years ago, walking through the West Edmonton Mall, and watched a pee wee (5~6-year old players?) hockey playing full contact hockey. Kind of funny to watch a little kid check another little kid into the boards.

On to more substantive matters, the NHLPA presented an offer to the NHL today.

@Real_ESPNLeBrun: NYR star B. Richards via text on PA proposal: "It is a move in their direction again and based off of their proposal. There has to be an effort from them to get this done now." End quote

Those kids should've turned around and slashed that coach across the shins.
