Nativity Scene/Cross in public = Can't look away; preaching; infecting people with Christianity!!!

Menorah, Islam, other religious actions/displays = tolerated and encouraged in the name of Multiculturalism

Public nudism in "Pride" festivals = Hey, if you don't like it, don't look. Get over yourselves.

Wouldn't it be great if the gay people had a "Pride" parade that had them dressed in normal street clothes, that basically said, "We're doctors, police, teachers, etc, and we're just like you". Instead we get the naked, (simulated?) sexual activity, and the blasphemous disrespect of one, and only one religion, (hey, don't want to be anti-semitic or invoke the wrath of the Muslim community - you know how THEY get). It's disheartening to see that the S.F. council, once again, has caved in to a special interest group, rather than the sensibility of the rest of the population.

/note the lack of any religious connotation here, this is a secular argument against public nudity.

You guys both seriously need to go to Burning Man. This stereotype does not even come close to living up to reality. I walked around for a few minutes myself. The best way I could describe the feeling is like there's one less thing that you can't do. You feel freaked out at first, and that lasts for all of a minute, and then you feel weirdly empowered, and possibly a bit titillated if you have an exhibitionist tendencies.
