His "ban" is full of fail for two reasons:
1. How would he know who voted for Obama unless they told him.
2. He's not the only gun shop around. Other gun shops will happily take a buyer's money.

2012-11-20 12:58:41 PM
nine out of 10 of them start out with vile and nasty language. And I guess they don't have the intelligence to carry on a conversation like an adult.

Says the guy with an "Obama, why stupid people shouldn't vote" sign.

2012-11-20 01:13:07 PM
Question: After this election, does the GOP shun this guy or print posters with him on them?

2012-11-20 01:16:55 PM
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say his business isn't likely to suffer as a result of his position.

2012-11-20 01:16:55 PM
Stupid people shouldn't vote. But Obama won anyway.

2012-11-20 01:17:26 PM
Why would he make me squirm? I'm surrounded by loud, poorly educated and pridefully ignorant people on a daily basis. The only difference in his case is that somebody decided to write about him.

2012-11-20 01:17:26 PM
What's the point of having an intelligent conversation with an obviously childish idiot that attacks other people's voting record and can't seem to run his business like an adult anyway?

I'm sorry, but people should be able to call stupid people stupid. It isn't some failure to engage in civil discussion when I call you a dumbass. You are, in fact, a dumbass.

2012-11-20 01:17:55 PM
You mean to tell me that there are still gun shops in Obama's America?

Pincy: You mean to tell me that there are still gun shops in Obama's America?

They must be in underground enclaves, because I heard that after Obama was elected, the gubmint was gon' take everbody's guns and melt them down to make FEMA trailers.

2012-11-20 01:21:30 PM
seems like a smart salesman. knows his customer base, gets free advertising, people will come to him and think that by handing him their money they are 'sticking it to obama'.

2012-11-20 01:21:47 PM
Meh, it's a free country, and there are plenty of other places to buy firearms in this country.

FTFA:Reynolds believes Obama will pursue gun control immediately in his second term, even though the president largely ignored the issue during his first. That's why Reynolds remains mystified by the notion that any gun owner could have supported the incumbent.

"They have not been paying attention to the news. They have not been paying attention to what he's been doing," Reynolds said. "But it will become painfully obvious to them soon."

Who's not been paying attention to the news?

Beaver1224: That's why Reynolds remains mystified....

I'm guessing that the list of things that Mr. Reynolds is mystified by could probably fill a phone book.

Sadly Faux News does not count as news. Someone needs to tell this poor fellow he's a little too ignorant to vote... I say this jokingly of course...

FTFA: "The only way it's enforceable is if they come in and tell us, then we're not going to sell to them," Reynolds said. "But if they come in and shut their mouth, we'll sell to them."

Rich irony. The one thing the right's never been able to is shut their damned mouths, and here they are asking for it.

It's all fun and games until they hammer out some awful arms treaty and all the imported weapons skyrocket in price overnight due to no more imports.

No one tell this guy he can carry in a national forest now due to a bill Obama signed.

Granted it was the credit card consumer rights bill and it was an amendment to that bill, but it was signed into law by Obama.

//He's probably pissed about the Thune Amendment being shot down

2012-11-20 01:36:05 PM
Don't worry, Cletus. I've already got more that enough guns and ammo to genetically cleans the trailer park you live in.

2012-11-20 01:36:25 PM
No problem, Chief. I'll buy my guns, ammo, and range time from someone else.
If his business goes under, he'll blame Obama and not being shiatty businessman.

You know, I really have to get used to this one-click posting, and start using preview.

This guy is getting a little short term PR, but I think he should try something more dramatic, like killing himself or running his spouse over with a Jeep.

"We've even gotten calls from Afghanistan, England, almost every state in the union. Overwhelmingly they're in support," Reynolds said by phone.

Mr. Reynolds. Those are other gun store owners encouraging you to dig your own grave.

I just submitted another story about this, before realizing it had already been greened here. He's also talking about how business owners should be willing to ask people a bunch of questions about all sorts of social wedge issues, such as abortion, gay marriage, who they voted for, etc. and encourages business owners to do this and purge customers that don't think exactly like they do. What a dumbshiat.

What do you mean 'the ones that are not?'

But in an interview with TPM on Monday, he said the trouble has been relatively minor compared to the praise he's gotten from gun enthusiasts around the world. "We've even gotten calls from Afghanistan..."

Gun enthusiasts in Afghanistan? Wonder who they can be.

But liberals are all gun-hating pacifists! Why would they shop there in the first place?

So, they haven't been paying attention to the way he's been NOT pursuing gun control? Makes sense to me.

Please proceed, Mr. gunshop owner.

""They have not been paying attention to the news. They have not been paying attention to what he's been doing," Reynolds said. "

Oh, I see. So I should study it out?
And I'll see all the secret gun laws he has plans for?
By the way, can I borrow a prozac? I think I got some of your schizoderpia on my shoe.

2012-11-20 01:51:53 PM
Obama isn't trying to prevent me from owning a gun, this guy is.

2012-11-20 01:52:03 PM
Has Obama signed (or even been presented with) a single actual piece of legislation that decreased the freedom to own/carry/use a firearm? Any at all?

Only gun related laws I'm aware of are removals of restrictions... ie increasing freedoms.

There is no such thing. It's obvious by looking at voters and the shiat they tolerate.

2012-11-20 01:52:47 PM
just once (or twice since they asked Palin "all of them"), I'd like the interviewer to ask these fine Americans where they get their news. I have a good idea where but it doesn't hurt to hear them respond just so other Americans can digress appropriately.

2012-11-20 01:52:54 PM
His mistake is that he thinks all gun owners are single issue voters. If that were true I wouldn't have voted for Obama, or Romney, as they both suck when it comes to gun rights.

The US military. Dirty little secret: Guys who like to shoot guns often enlist in the military so they can play with them and get paid to do it. That goes double for infantry, and quadruple for special operations troops.

Well, of course not. If this guy were the nearest gun store, and I needed more guns, I'd just walk in and buy one. What the f**k is dumb-shiat trailer boy going to do about it?

Which is why one of my co-workers who fought in Iraq told me that they would stick the gun crazy rednecks on the 50-cal turrets on the humvees. Their lust for playing with a big gun overrode the notion that they were a prime target for the enemy.

Is there a satisfactory internet meme for conveying how not-impressive that actually is?

As to the deluge of phone calls, I don't much stock into a word this guy says. These type of people tend to be unmitigated liars. They don't even consciously; they just feel the need to embellish any story or argument they're making.

Reynolds believes Obama will pursue gun control immediately in his second term, even though the president largely ignored the issue during his first.

Tell you what. If in the first six months Obama makes no move towards gun control, do you agree that you're wrong and promise never to open your mouth about politics again in your life?

Of course, he'll likely take internet rumors and talk radio that CONFIRM what Obama is planning over "main stream media" claims to the otherwise. Have a co-worker that firmly believes their Obama executive orders PROVING he's going to remove the Constitutional requirement to him holding a 3rd term.

They once were. I belonged to the party from 1976 to 2006. I really should have quit in 88, when they sold out to RONPAUL to get his name recognition, though.

Oh, how I wish I lived in Arizona. Well, no, not really live, maybe just enough to be able to buy a gun in the state. Anyway...I would love to walk into this yokel's store, go through all the background checks for a handgun, and then three days later or however long it is as I'm walking out the door with my new piece turn around and say, "hey redneck, thanks for the gun, by the way, I voted for Obama, now what?" just to watch the pouty little scowl show up on his face.

2012-11-20 02:19:23 PM
First I heard they were coming for my gun so i waited... still waiting.

Getting cold now, maybe they are unable to find me, i haven't trimmed the shrubs around street address placard on the main street in a while... so cold.

I cleaned up the shrubs real nice about a month ago, decided to put a bell next to the gate so i could be buzzed if they needed me to come out & show them up to the house... still waiting.
